That's where I had that interaction with her. If I link anything, it'll give me way though and I don't want that.

Ever hear of inflation? Much like most of you, we also have bills to pay. Don't like someone's price? Nobody fucking cares. Just move along. Don't like that someone paid someone a lot more than you ever would? Nobody cares. Cry a fucking river and move on. Or maybe respect the prices women set for themselves because that's how they perceive their worth. Don't think she's worth that? Why argue and cry about it? Just move on to the next.
$100 is cheap as fuck. And you usually get what you pay for in looks abd thrills. Maybe try not being so God damn cheap.

I feel like this is an industry where things should not be sugar coated. If others want sugar coating, then they can do pole sport. Stripping can be a vile and vicious industry where the truth is necessary in most situations.
The girl who wrote that thread is a straight up bitch. I've had unkind interactions with her on both stripper subReddits. She's very anti-extras and extremely anti-men. I, personally, don't think she should be a stripper with her mindset. There was a post a long time ago on r/strippers of a porn scene taking place at a strip club. The actress was giving a bj on the salesfloor of the club. That bitch replied saying "hope she gets fired." I countered, hopefully embarrassing her, informing her it was a porn scene given the film quality and the watermark. And then we got into about how she believes extras girls should just escort and are ruining the industry. And then I told her to come to Detroit and work. Find out how not safe escorting is and why extras girls choose to do ITC instead. And then she accused me of not being a real stripper because I am extras friendly. To which I informed her that extras friendly clubs do exist and they are not brothels and why. I had more interactions with her, but none as extreme as what I already spoke of. But, in short, fuck that cunt. That's how much I can't stand her.
I haven't been on StripperWeb in ages. First, I can't log in for whatever reason. Whenever I do, it logs me out right away. I tried for a while on multiple devices/browsers and even created new accounts. So I gave up. Also, most of the information on there is dated and stripper Reddit is far more mainstream given it shows up way higher in Google searches.

100% could not agree more. Social media and Stripper TikTok (StripTok) are not helping and are only glamorizing stripping. It is not a job that should ever be glamorized.

Men (and sometimes women or couples) are the reason stripping exists. Our survival in this industry is reliant on our paying customers. It seriously irks me that these idiot girls hate those they simultaneously rely on so much. Like... Make it make sense. 🤯
There was a post on r/strippers recently where another girl was asking about working without being touched. It is literally impossible to be a stripper with the expectation of never being touched - even at air dance clubs.
It's like they want to go backwards in time to when stripping wasn't so mainstream and was taboo. Most of those girls should work at a peep show bar with a plastic wall dividing them from the customers - problem solved.
Those are just my opinions though from actually interacting with them on the two stripper subReddits. Extras are and will ALWAYS be a part of clubs. And it's not the dancers doing it. It's the managers and club stuff allowing extras to happen. Yelling at extras dancers on a subReddit is not going to make them go away.

I personally hate posting or commenting on there because my opinion and perception of the job is much different, so I'm constantly down voted or "attacked by the mob".
I see r/stripper as far worse than StripperWeb. StripperWeb is a more diverse website with a history of providing help and ideas for strippers at varying points in their careers. R/stripper seems to be a congregation of mostly female dancers who hate men and many hate stripping. The overall theme and vibe of that subReddit is negative with a tinge of delusion. It's fine to complain about customers, who doesn't do that in any job of course... But to go on the internet and whine about your job and what it's becoming or things about it you dislike (extras and extras dancers) and expect any real change to come from that is not how to go about making that or any other change happen. They post photos on there, a public forum, and complain to and blame the moderator because men message them in response to the photos. The moderator has no control over that and yet they still whine about it because they feel they shouldn't have to change their message settings. Extras will always be a part of club culture and many there are blind to that reality due to their negativity and closed mindedness.
I simply don't understand how they can be so anti-men and hate the customers and job so much and still dance.

So, we kind of just assume you're there for some of kind extracurricular activities since that's the reputation LS and FC have.
If you knew of it's reputation prior to visiting, then it would have been best for you to clarify before agreeing to go to VIP. If you didn't know, then I can totally see why you may have been frustrated with her actions.
If someone asks to go to VIP and doesn't bring up extras beforehand, I assume they'll bring up the topic once the normal dances have begun, and they always do in my experience.

@ BuckMcNutter kind of disgusting and small minded of you to assume all strippers do drugs and have pimps. It says a lot about you as an individual and how you perceive women, especially strippers. Please stay out of the clubs due to your mindset.
For the record, FC day shift managers do not and will not allow pimp girls to work their shifts (they and house mom told me). It's easy to spot pimp girls and I can confirm I have not seen any working day shifts. Also, FC will pull dancers from the floor and send them home (possibly fire them) if they're on drugs (in an obvious way and also as a liability to the club).

The clubs in Detroit asked that we schedule a minimum of three nights a week. If we choose to go out schedule, it's letting the club know that they have guaranteed girls for that evening. If we choose to not go on schedule, we are charged a freelance fee per every shift we work. The freelance fees vary from club to club.
Some clubs will have certain stipulations around schedules. Legends, for example, says we have to have a Sunday night or a Monday night included in our schedule. In contrast, Players says we can include a Sunday, Monday, or a Tuesday. Flight Club doesn't care what nights out of the week you commit to so long as it's 3 nights. Landing Strip is the only club I have worked at in Metro Detroit that does not require a schedule at all to still get the lowest possible tip out rate. I can work there four nights a week or just one night a week and still get charged the same rate.
It's technically not legal from what I'm told, but Alan Markowitz's lawyer found some kind of a loophole like 10 years ago and began charging girls freelance fees. All the clubs in Detroit followed suit.

You went on Valentine's Day weekend. And thus why there were so many couples and female patrons. Commenting on a dancer's different boob sizes is also unnecessary and your eyes were probably deceiving you because it is dark in that club. And Dream Girls is two stories and the basement for our locker room.

Regardless of location, it's honestly dependent onht the local ordinance is. For example, the Florida panhandle forbids new clubs opening unless the location of choice previously operated as a cabaret/sexually oriented business. Most counties/cities have weird stipulations like that or similar.

When I was a regular dancer here, two customers would come I weekly for 'just dances". They were known for not wanting extras, so only a few of us bothered with them. And the song by song couch dances are $30/song.

I've read customers can retract tips once an order is complete. So someone will put like a $30 tip for example. They get their items and then retract that $30 or most of it to be a dick and the independent contractor gets nothing. There was an article about this, I think, on CNN or some major news site a few months ago.

Metro Detroit is still a mecca for extras, but clubs in the city are now known for being extras free. Every Club had to convert their VIP area and remodel. If extras became a thing at the clubs in the city again, I feel it would be a slow and gradual transition back into it. Most of the girls who work at the clubs in the city slut shame the extras girls who come to check out their clubs. The extra girls are a minority and often driven out and it used to be the complete opposite.
