It's pretty much back to normal at my club... there have been some pricing increases (just like everywhere), but they've also completed a gorgeous renovation and are working on an even more amazing (and ginormous) addition.
It's an industry with a lot of turnaround, so I don't notice an unusual amount of that going on either.
Really, it's almost like there was a little time warp and we skipped over the pandemic time into a shinier version of the club... with WAY better bathrooms! ð

I think you handled yourself beautifully in this situation. Because we're meant to be only a fantasy, I think it can be a tough thing to know our place sometimes when such an obvious reminder of the real world creeps in.
As for communication with him, I'd say do whatever feels right. If you think he'd prefer to be the one reaching out, then let him. But, if you think he'd appreciate hearing he's in your thoughts now and then, do that. Yes, we're strippers and our job is what it is... but that doesn't mean we can't also just be kind humans. ð
I'm a little surprised at some of the callous responses to this post... this poor guy dealt with his wife's failing health and now faces his own imminent mortality but was a loyal, weekly customer prior to the unfortunate turn his life has taken at the end.
I would say take the positive comments here (of which there are some great ones) to heart and leave the rest.

I once encountered a masochist who wanted to be degraded but didn't even have enough money for the cheapest private room dance. I told him his best bet was to head to the internet to find others whose kink was compatible with his. He appreciated the advice but still wanted some sort of interaction that day and wanted to know what he could get for $20.
I told him that since we couldn't do a dance, I couldn't really help him and figured that'd be the end of it. Instead he asked if I'd be willing to let him drink my pee. ðģ I didn't know what to say at first and naively didn't even conceive of how to go about such a thing, especially in public. He calmly explained that I could just take an empty cup into the bathroom, fill it, and bring it out to him.
Of course this is gross, but I do it at the doc's office for free, and I was just gonna flush it anyway, so why not make a quick 20 bucks.

I can't speak for the other clubs in the area, but I personally think the hottest girls are at Lust. I used to work at Vixens until it shut down the first time. When they reopened, I never even thought about going back because I was so happy at my new club. I still feel that way! Unfortunately, I don't work nights. But if you stay in the area and feel like coming back on Sunday morning for a quick brunch beer, I'd love to hear what you thought of the place.
As for the drink prices, none of my customers have mentioned the difference so I'm not exactly sure what it is. Which also leads me to think that it's not huge. But, if you're that concerned, why not pregame in the parking lot before you come in?
