Mercedes works primarily weekday afternoons. She’s the only Asian/Oriental girl I’ve ever seen there. She is a HUGE upseller, but her attitude has gotten markedly better in the last few months. It depends - if the woman is doing it of her own free will it’s not exploitation. If she’s doing it because she has no other options to put a roof over her head, it might be because you’re taking advantage of her distress. Then you have to address the root cause - why can’t she put a roof over her head doing something else?

Yes. I had stopped at a small club in Central Nowhere NY west of Syracuse and had a really nice dance with a woman, nice enough that I planned to go back the next night for seconds. The next afternoon I was running an errand in the mall and who should I see but the same beauty. She gave me a shy smile and continued past without stopping. Second helpings that night were worth the visit.

Sorry - just saw the questions about pricing. I’m primarily an early afternoon guy, but on the occasions that I’ve been there at night I’ve noticed the pricing is 50% or more higher. The first time I learned this was I was talking to a night dancer about her college fund expectations and when I expressed surprise at the amount of debt her education was creating her response was “Oh, you must be one of those daytime guys.” The cost difference in education between day and night has been consistent across several visits and dancers. If they can get what they’re charging more lower to them.

@SAIGO sorry, I have no idea. I tend to think of the published line up as more of a wish list than an actual roster. Given the certainty of the outcome here, your best bet is to just go and see what wets your whistle.

I saw the adverts for the “White Party” and was wondering how that was going to work. I think it’s funny when clubs like this throw theme parties, because it’s really just the same old same old. I’m usually a daytimer and the last couple of times I’ve been there I wasn’t the only guy in the club, which surprised the hell out of me.

I met with a dancer in Detroit a few months ago and chatted with her at the bar because the club wasn’t really conducive to anything else. I made a point of tipping both her and later her friend a $20 every few songs even though all we did was talk. She’s there to make a living and I respect that.

@blahblahblah23 if you haven’t figured out that most of what men do doesn’t make sense you haven’t been paying attention. We’re simple creatures, really. Trying to ascribe logic and reason where there is none is fruitless. Why do get angry at SW? Probably because they’re angry at themselves and they’re taking it out on someone else instead of dealing with it in some more constructive way.

I have found that when she’s tied down by a regular just walking up and saying “I’m on my way out now, perhaps we’ll connect next time” usually gets them up and moving.

When I was going to various swing clubs my partners and I ascribed to the MAD Theory - Mutually Assured Destruction. If we saw someone we knew from the normie world they didn’t want to be seen by us as much as we didn’t want to be seen by them, so neither would speak up. Same rule applies here.
