Car brands you stick toToyota for my last 4 (including 1 Lexus), and will stick w it so long as they have vehicle I like better than similar Honda/Acura. First 2 bought used, recent 2 new.
Before that, had a Honda but switched to Toyota because Honda I owned, and then those I test drove before buying the Toyotas, had what I perceived to be significantly more road noise intrusion into cabin. Have you Honda folks not experienced same?
Will not consider Tesla or other electric until competitively priced and can go at least 500 miles on a charge, I have no interest being on road trip seeking a charging station or pausing for charge. Or til 2035-2040+ if I’m forced to if can’t get gas vehicle

TUSCL’rs and Mongers - How do you keep things on the down low?->@Elmer Fudd: "Turn off the Find My Phone function off.. Permanently."
You don't have to turn off the Find My iPhone function. This will do it:
-Settings
-Privacy
-Location Services
-Share My Location - Turn that fucker off!
As others have said, if you've already enabled sharing your location with SO and family, you've got bigger problems than just changing that privacy setting. Disabling sharing your location will be evident to others you've allowed sharing with, and it may even show up automatically in the text string of each person you've previously authorized sharing with.
I'm not familiar with the spoofing thing Gotta Be Damned pointed out, but as he said please let us know if it works.

ENTERTAINMENT AT SB HALFTIME?Yesterday's halftime show was terrible, which is too bad because I like Weeknd's tunes and consider him very talented.
By far the best halftime performance I've seen in past 20 years was Bruno Mars (the one he headlined, not the one he popped into with Coldplay), except for the part when the Chili Peppers stepped in for a song.

Superbowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m.ET, Who will win KC VS TampaWant Tampa to win. Tampa has better O line (both of KC's starting tackle are out, including a Pro Bowler), a better D line, and better linebackers. Team that wins the trenches tends to win the game (though not always, as in SF last year). KC will not be able to run the ball.
Despite all that, KC wins because of Mahomes, Hill and Kelce. For that to not occur, TB's safeties will have to play out of their minds to be able to stop Kelce.

NFL: Blockbuster Trade! Rams overpaid. But Rams seem to enjoy overpaying, such as 2 1st rounders and a 4th for Jalen Ramsey - similar to Seattle overpaying 2 1st rounders and a 3rd for Jamal Adams - Ramsey and Adams are both great players but that's very expensive. I suppose if Rams do well under Stafford then what they gave up for Stafford will be low 1st rounders. I'd hoped the 49ers could get Stafford for a 1st rounder or 2 2nd rounders, but oh well.
And Warrior15 is right about this deal setting a high market for Watson - Houston will want 2 1sts plus 2 2nds plus a Pro Bowl player.

OT: Fuck Rolling Stone ^Solid list.
Led Zep Houses of the Holy almost made my cut and was hard to leave off.
Both your REM albums are solid. Almost making the cut for me were Life's Rich Pageant, and to slightly lesser extent Automatic for the People.
Was hard for me to leave off U2 The Unforgettable Fire, but Achtung Baby made the cut barely ahead of it.
Glad to see someone else say Post Malone. My fave song off that album is Sugar Wraith but there's no bad song on that album. Your fave on that album is?

Singapore visit.Thank you for this, I pass through Singapore annually on my way somewhere else and have a layover with enough time to take advantage of this and hope to check it out.
bdirect, you're correct it's not a destination but if you're passing through, why not. I've hit TJ and that's highly convenient, but Latinas are not my go to and so would like to hit EU FKKs as a destination.

Strip Club Census-->@OP sinclair: "two pops on a three hole course."
^Classic. You hear / learn something new every day.
-->@docsavage: "I've talked to long time dancers several times over the years and they say business never completely recovered after the 2008 economic crash. The 2006 peak in clubs happened just as the economy was peaking. The recovery after the 2008 crash was largely a mirage. Strip clubs are a luxury and people cut back on luxuries first when times get tough."
^I didn't start clubbing in earnest til 2016, so I can't speak to pre-2008 SC boom with personal knowledge. But my pre-pandemic CF has told me of pre-2008 boom and says $1K nights in San Fran were typical and did not require massive effort (or extras). I find the minimal effort hard to believe based on my 2016-2020 experience, but that's what she said.

"Hank Aaron, baseball great who became voice for civil rights, dies at 86"Friend of mine had brief conversation with Willie Mays when traveling and during chat referenced Hank Aaron and their mutual playing days. Willie's response was: If I'd have played in same home stadiums as Hank did in Milwaukee and Atlanta (instead of Candlestick Park in SF), I would've hit 800 home runs!
