Not for anything when I mentioned optics.......having Deb Watch-her-Mouth Schultz question anyone on ethics after her tenure as DNC Chairperson https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jul/24/debbie-wasserman-schultz-resigns-dnc-chair-emails-sanders.. BTW I saw the Bernie Sanders interview on CBS......his comments on Howard Schultz left a lot to be desired considering he considers himself a Independent.

    Trump is fucked
A lot is going to depend who comes out of the pack on the democratic side of the picture and who runs as an Independent. The problem as I see it for the liberals is too many of them are moving further and further to the left and while that plays well on CNN and MSNBC as well as up and down both coast it doesn't do well elsewhere....and if the silent minority stays silent again like they did last time no one is going to see the results coming (again)

India and Pakistan on the brink of war
I recall back when I was a kid they were at war but it always seems to calm down --from memory the real fear is that China could get dragged into it as well.

First off Founder say hello to my ex.....(lol) The media will not let anything with Trump die which is the real problem he has......people still believe the news is the news. However as long as public opinion stays where it is currently the democrats are not going to impeach him....understand the polls we see and the ones Senators and Congresspeople do are two very different animals.

DC--I suggest you try to get tickets to old fogy rock---the Rolling Stones are about to tour again--look at the ticket prices. Adel a couple of years ago was asking that type of coin for a seat...... As for dinner and drinks...I always thought DC stood for DC as in District of Columbia.....if it does I can hit 200 in the blink of an eye.

I just took a" real date" on a five day vacation to a resort........if that counts as one date it needs a comma.

OT: If you got some money to play with
With me it's a culture thing from when I was a kid......it kills me to buy a car over 40 K even now that I can afford it. My parents were not big on cars --my dad would wait until end of year for the model and then buy what was on the lot of the previous model year....and pay as much as he could in cash. Last car I bought was around 45K and I went back and forth before I pulled the trigger on it. I test drove a Tesla and if there really were enough charging stations around the country or if they could expand the mileage level without using a battery that is combustible ( more than now which is bad enough) I'd go that route and pay the price. Otherwise I just can't pull the trigger on a 100K vehicle.

I like coffee I drink it black with to spoons of unrefined brown sugar
I personally hate Starbucks --the small town I live in didn't have one until just a few years ago and they have already moved it twice because it hasn't really taken off like most of them do around the country. To me they are the equivalent to Walmart. We've got a couple of local owned coffee shops. On a Saturday morning if I'm running errands I will go to one of those instead. Referencing NYC there was a coffee shop on the corner of Lex and 53rd right next to what use to be the old Metropolitan Hotel ( now a Doubletree I think) that had about the best coffee I ever had in the 48 states.........Hawaii is in a class of its own when it comes to coffee. You could watch the skirts go by and drink coffee outside or in one of the window booths.......spent a lot of 7AM-9 AM's there when I worked in the city.

@twentyfive--I spent most of my free time when there in Marigot. Loved the atmosphere and that the cruise ships ( at least years ago) couldn't get into the harbor so it was not all that much of a tourist magnet. But a couple of weeks a year was it for me and I decided the problems with remote ownership just wasn't worth the investment.

twentyfive I "had" property in St Maarten--the Dutch side.......thankfully before the whole island was turned into a parking lot a couple of years ago I bailed. What you find with many of the South American and Caribbean nations is that they rise for a few years in prosperity only to fall as fast as they had risen...........

I have a good number of friends and work related friends that have moved out of the USA since 2004. Places such as Morocco, Dominican Republic, Argentina, HongKong, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and Germany. These are just a few that come to mind quickly. Most of them left because they also felt life was better someplace else --all of them either moved back to the US or come back here and ended up splitting time between their new home and here. Not one of them had any issue qualifying for Visas. One exception is Singapore where you better have a certain skill set if you want to migrate there. The USA is a big country---typically what someone doesn't like about living ( as an example) in the DC area can be solved by moving to someplace in the SW part of the country. I'd rather not be like Germany or Denmark....if you like them so much move there. I know people who have...guess what? They are back in the USA again.

OT. A question for all the people past 35...
In order the first one would be do not have 21 shots of Jack Daniels for your 21st birthday.....it will be the worse hangover of your entire life and it will last two days. When you meet a future movie star in a small town bar in northeast Ohio and she tells you one day she will be famous believe her. Give it one more year in the minor leagues before hanging up your bat and glove If after one more year don't go corporate --start your own business sooner.
