Thanks for the review, Lonely. My last visit here, the bartender was playing jazz (I'm a jazz guy), which is unique for a strip club. When the dancers got on stage, they picked their own music. The two curtained lap dance booths in the backroom are private if you're the monger back there. Probably a little awkward when both are occupied. I also got the $40 or 3/$100 offer. The stage is a real stage with no rail. They could have a jazz trio playing up there. All ladies stayed on their side of the stage except one, and it wasn't anything to brag about. I took that dancer to the back for one dance just to see if the monger no touching rule is true. Yep!. There are cameras in the booth. I enjoyed my dancer, but the no touching just makes me want to head down the road. I'm an extras guy, so not my type of club, but guys go to clubs for different reasons and glad you had a good time for the money spent. Thanks

Thanks for the review Rck99Hrd. Sounded like Christmas with the unwrapping gift! I never get that under my tree! I don't frequent this place much because of the rates for what you get in the booth. I enjoy the rack though when I'm there. Until a couple years ago at the old Shimmers, I could get a hj for $20/song plus a $20 tip. I still find the normal 3/$100 quotes at The Venue, Club 205, Scarlet Lounge (well actually one dancer two weeks ago quoted $30/song), Dream On in the side booths, 82nd Strip also quoted 30/song, and at Cabaret II you get four songs for $120 or two for $60 (which can come with a little more spendy fun). I tend to pass on the $120 rate at this point unless I have intel that says I'm going to have extra fun in the booth. Back in the early 1990s, I was paying $20 a song in Minneapolis, which I thought was damn expensive. $40 a song, 30 plus years later, doesn't seem too unreasonable to me. The hobby is expensive! Nice review and well written. This has mirrored my many trips to this club while travelling to the twin cities. Claudia is an icon. I never have got extras here, but a fun club to hangout with naked ladies that won't break the bank. I'm not a fan of the open communal lap dance areas, so I just do the $10 dances when the mood strikes me. Thanks.

Thanks for the review, Theshag. Your experience mirrored mine on a Friday this last year. It is a "No Touching" club in the lap dance booths, so again, agree with you about saving your money here. I was quoted 3/$100 from one dancer, just to check the price. My three white dancers all stayed on their side of the stage, but were friendly. I didn't test the food. Unlike most downtown or close to downtown clubs, this place has a small parking lot, which is good with the homeless on the sidewalks close by. Thanks.

Nice review, yowzer, except the "old guys still having game" and naming me.....lol Oh, the truth hurts!! When I have to start taking Viagra to visit a strip club, that's when I'm going to hang up my balls! SI is a great club, especially for plenty of hot young dancers at a decent dance price. No need for cameras in the VIP Lounge as I can't imagine anything illegal happening in that communal room. On my last visit, we even had the bouncer come in to make sure everyone was behaving themselves. I haven't heard/read of any hanky-panky happening in those pricey individual booths either. I do like "glancing" while getting a dance to select my next option. You gotta love the one dance sets too at the rack.
You reminded me of a recent trip to Club 205. This really old guy (had to be in his 80s) slowly made his way to rack and was laying down tips as the dancer(s) were giving him attention. He finally makes his way up and heads to a table, almost shuffling his feet, while a young, toned dancer then joins him. They are talking for a bit and then they make their way to a lap dance booth, slowly. He is in that booth for more then three songs. Finally he appears and heads back to his table. He was my hero of the day and gave me hope for the future.

It is nice to get reviews on lingerie studios. Obviously, Electroman below has never been to one, as you have great information. One thing good about Victress Entertainment, they won't break the bank for walk-in entertainment. Some ladies here may not be the perfect specimen, but I prefer some imperfections. VE and the models do a good job of putting information out there on Instagram. We have read reviews on here where guys have paid double that at some places for just self-service with a nude model. Fyi, there are clubs in town where you can get the service you received and more, but might cost you more too. Thanks again.

Thanks for the review, Pendragon7. Right off the bat, I'm envious of your wife going with you. I'm usually making sure I don't have stripper perfume on me, and bringing a second set of clothes, especially if my shorts are soiled before heading home Then you have to get them washed at some point too. DV8 has a nice strip club dive vibe. I have yet to get any extras here, so will just make a stop once-in-awhile, but these days, save my lap dance money for another club. Well, if I ever got some personal attention at the rack like light OTP, I would take the gamble and see how it goes. I generally balk at the $120 price still if I don't know the dancer since 3/$100 is pretty typical. Actually, I will just do one dance and see how it goes, before continuing with the three. Glad you had a good time and I like seeing couples in the club. Thanks

Thanks for the review, Dammccanns. I have only made one trip to this club, but had a good time in the lap dance booth with a dancer who took advantage of my shorts. I got her digits and we even communicated once, but haven't returned. The 3:00 PM start and being about the furthest from my residence makes it a tough go for this morning/afternoon monger. Who wants to drive I-205 during those late afternoon hours? I enjoyed my visit, except the "big dude" bartender when I'm hoping for a young cute girl to wait on me. They do a good job of posting their dancers on Instagram. I would definitely spend more time in this place if it wasn't such a pain in the ass drive. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your experience UtaPau30. It is great to get some information on the private booths here. I get confused on what to call those booths, as the main open shared/communal lap dance room has a lighted sign that says "VIP Lounge." Does that make the two booths, "VIP Booths or what is above the VIP level?" Sounds like the cost is $280 plus tip for 30 minutes. Your comment, "Possibly I could have gotten something" confirms another recent review of no "Extras" happening at this club so far. I go to clubs up here in Portland for only the extras, so I have a few clubs that I think are the best clubs in Oregon, IMO. Guys go to clubs for different reason, thank god. If we all liked the same stuff, it would be damn boring. From all my trips to clubs in the Eugene/Springfield area, I like Sweet Illusions the best and the $20/$25 per song makes the non-extra activities a little more fun. I have never been asked by a dancer that offered OTC to take her out for pizza. Maybe a slice of "pie," but not pizza! lol Thanks and glad you had a good time for the money spent.

Thanks for the review, ctrlurself. I can confirm the "no touching" in the shared and cramped lap dance area as you stated about low mileage. There is a sign posted, "No Touching Dancers, It's The Law." I question the law part of that sign, but it is their policy. Glad you found a dancer that was fun. This place, like it's name Acropolis Steakhouse, is known for it's cheap steaks and was hoping to get a report on the quality. since mileage doesn't seem to be the draw here. I can't see me eating a juicy burger with ketchup running down my chin while looking up at a dancer while at the rail either. Thanks.

Great review and detail (as always) gSteph. I probably would have jumped at the chance with your first lass as I like a few curves. Like some of those sayings, "More cushin' for the pushin'" and "Built for comfort, not speed." :) Sorry to read the $25/song comment as well as no nips for those starving lips. "Noticing" other dancers with customers in that so called shared VIP Lounge is how I selected all the dancers after my first dance on that last visit It still provided mix results though, but better then at the rack for me. There a few clubs in the suburbs of Portland, where I have said, "Who hired her" and/or "I bet she won't make $10 bucks today." It takes some balls (if she had'm) to get up their totally nude and expose all that woman. Thanks and always enjoy your reviews.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Tuns0fun. I agree with your 777 ratings. I have had a few memorable dances that would put the value at 8, but I'm partial to this place for the fun it has given me in those booths. Yeah, mix bag of body types here for sure and that is part of the charm for this guy. I've always just walked right in with my morning/early afternoon visits, no bouncer, no ID check, or cover charge. Thanks again.

Nice review Larry999. There were a couple of dancers here that also worked at a lingerie place plus they had ads on TNA, so I knew their menu and read their reviews. I'm surprised that there hasn't been more lap dance action from this club, but they must have to sign an agreement about no hanky-panky in the booth. Since they're independent contractors, I wonder if they could get sued if they caused a business to lose their liquor license because of illegal activity in the booth. Most experience dancers know how to use their body to help cover certain activities, but doesn't seem to happen here. I was at a club this last Wednesday and got a dance from a dancer that told me she moonlights at a lingerie joint and she did perform like she was at the studio. Her dance cost me $300 and money well spent. Thanks.

Hey gSteph, nice review and thanks for supporting our Portland ladies. I have never experienced a dancer telling me not to touch her at the stage, but I generally try to keep my hands off unless I know the dancer. Plenty of guys put their hands on dancers though. Just a brush, I might have just got up and left the stage until she was done. $50 is too rich for me too, especially since mileage tends to be limited here from my experiences and reading reviews. I was at the Gold Club this last Monday afternoon and asked a dancer her prices, $40/song or 3/$100 and I about fell over as this club seems to have adopted the $50, 3/$120 or higher. Glad the sun was shinning a little brighter when you walked out. Thanks.

I've had the same experience at a potential "extras" club. I now have one hidden outside at the club and I also have one hidden in a restroom near the club incase my first gets found. I don't enter the club without one. I stashed the others away from my house.
If having an appointment with a sex worker and on the drive to her place, she texts and says, "Hey, can you stop and get raincoats?" Being a nice guy and you make the purchase and then show up with the condoms, it can be an entrapment with the intent to have sex for money. Unless you know the lady, you are better off to decline.

I tip $2 a song and if she comes over, gets in my lap with maybe boobies in the face, a little OTP action, I will put out another $2 to show my appreciation. If I had previous "extra" experience with the dancer and I know what is to cum, I mean come in the booth, I will tip her $5 a song and might even ask her if I can buy her a drink. On the other side. If I put out $2 and she just hangs around the pole and is ignoring me, I will get up before that second song.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have never stepped in to this club as it doesn't seem to have the type of lap dance opportunities I enjoy. Plus, they would probably turn me away at the door in my shorts. A lot of mongers like the higher end clubs with the very attractive, thin, young dancers and don't care much about the mileage in the booth. Covid changed a couple of dive strip clubs that I used to frequent as well. Thanks again.

I was living in a little redneck town (Redmond, OR) of about 5,000 folks way back. A Jehovah Witness group moved their fellowship to a new Kingdom Hall building in another part of town. The old JW building became a bar, not a strip club though, and I guess it is what some call "Putting land to better use."
As far as Chick-fil-A being "Red" branded business, all you have to do is Google the corporate values with all the Woke (deversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)) policies and maybe a strip club is not too far off. This has been going on for years with this company. They like to ride that pre 2019 perception.

My dancers were just the opposite. Per the sign posted in the club, "No Touching Dancers" in that small curtained communal lap dance area. The lap dance area, in the same area as that pool table, is so small that your knees will hit another monger if sitting across from each other. The owner must have a sense of humor with the no touching policy and then condom machines above each of the three urinals. My waitress could drive an 18 wheeler as a side job. The noon hour twenty minute stage dances per dancer gets a little boring, especially if she just sits at the stage and wants to talk like one of mine. Speaking of the stage at the bar, the dancer changing room is upstairs behind the stage. This means, a dancer has to walk on the stage where the current dancer is dancing, walk across her show to head upstairs. Strange. I guess my experience was less than phenomenal, but I have to admit, I didn't try the steak.

The Venue closing and a Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in its place has been rumored/discussed for over a year. This is nothing new. Not sure why the delay, but a recent discussion with a long-time dancer at The Venue says the owner is looking to relocate when/if it closes.
Gun violence, especially in SE Portland, seems to be a growing concern and making headlines. I have over a hundred visits to The Venue and have never felt unsafe, but strip clubs in general tend to attract this type of violence, so no different than any other club. I used to frequent Minneapolis/St Paul strip clubs, and they were prone to occasional shootings.
From my long-time visits to strip clubs in the Portland area, the SW clubs suck for mileage and extras. Dolphin II is the best option on the SW side for any lap dance booth fun and that's probably because they do not have any cameras in the booth. The SE/NE side of town are the best clubs for mileage and extras from personal experience and discussion with other strip club mongers.
