Impressed!

I've avoided SI because of its reputation for having the prettiest, youngest dancers in the area. You see, I'm a worn out member of the Medicare generation and didn't want to be reminded of this by beautiful young women. But a recent positive review and stories of other old guys still having game in clubs (thank you, Mr. J) encouraged me to stick my head in briefly as I was passing through Springfield on business. I will return!

Parking is plentiful. Entrance is discretely located in the back. Reasonably dark upon entering (red strip lighting on the ceiling). DJ/bouncer booth immediately to your left, stage/pole/rack with about a dozen chairs just a few feet straight ahead. Dressing room and VIP lounge on far wall behind stage. Wall to left is covered in mirrors giving the room a false sense of enormity (I figured it out when I saw an old dude staring at me . . . it WAS me!). Bar immediately to your right, video machines beyond that. Private rooms and restrooms also to the right. No cover. My club soda was only a couple bucks.

True to its reputation, the dozen or so dancers were all good looking, fit, and mostly natural. Actually, there were probably many more dancers than I first counted because they kept popping out of the VIP and private rooms. There were about 10 customers ranging from 30-ish to several of my cohorts. Contrary to my fears, I did not feel out of place. Several dancers approached me at my table, were very enticing and pleasant, and politely left when I said I was not looking for company this time. I was told these prices (dancers have some discretion): $20-30\song in shared VIP lounge, $100-200/15 minutes in private rooms. No mouths on dancers in vip; other touching is negotiable. Mouths on dancers is begin now in private rooms. VIP has beaded curtain entry; at least one seat was visible to my table in the main room (the dance going on there -- sorry, I glanced-- with a fellow oldster seemed naked (her), sultry, handsy, and legal). I did not get a dance on this short recon trip. I do not know if there are cameras.
