A reliably good selection of dancers

DV8 is a place I can count on for a large selection of dancers, some in the 8 or 9 range. You enter from the parking lot in the rear of the building, through the door and straight ahead are the video poker machines, and to the right and you’ll see the bar, the first dance area, and comfy seating on the wall, including a fireplace. Lighting is good and there was no DJ when I was there in the afternoon.

My soft drink was $3 and the food menu offers some of the best deals at a club in the city. Plump down on a wire and plastic chair, some of the worst in the city, and give the dancer $2 a song to introduce yourself. If she’s inclined, and you are too, she’ll get in your lap. (Some ask permission and I suspect they’ve never been turned down.) The dancers all engage with their patrons, unlike some places where the dancer’s performance is all they offer.

There is a second and a smaller dance area not far away that get used at night when the most dancers are working. Day dancers are mostly white but with more variety in the evening. Even during the day you’ll find a half-dozen good-looking dancers, ranging from spinners to toned and shapely. The private dance areas don’t look private with their white sheer curtains, until you get inside. The lighting on the curtains gives privacy except from the cameras, which is the rub, and all you’ll get. I didn’t take a poll but the dancer I asked offered the standard pricing of one for 40, three for 100.
