Too much of a good thing is never enough
As a relatively-frequent-but-non-local customer of Follies from 1999 until they closed, I really got a kick out of reading this. I laughed out loud at the suggestion about adding live music. And Follies or not, does any actual human being ever use the expression "delicious cocktails"??

Marcomolo, you'd be doing a service to other TUSCLers if you would submit a club update regarding the cover always being $10.

It seems like this club continues its slide to extinction. I visited once, five or six years ago, and while dances and VIPs were pricey, all of the women I saw working there were among *the* most beautiful I have ever seen anywhere, in or out of a club. In addition, they were paid extra by management to walk around the club fully nude as they chatted with customers. I know from reading more recent reviews that the full nude walk-around is no longer happening. I guess it doesn't matter now, because it sounds like all the beautiful women have left. Sad.
BTW, six out of seven adjudicators found your review acceptable, so ignore the one who didn't.

Every dancer’s favorite- cause they told me so
The new club will be right beside Centerfolds? In the building where Triad Cremation and Funeral Service used to be? They must be betting that everyone will be dying to go there.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
^^^ @himalayabound, much respect to you for your past high-altitude adventures; I am quite envious. I love the mountains, but, unfortunately, they don't love me. Four out of every one million people are highly susceptible to altitude sickness. I am one of those four and have been in a few life-threatening situations at only 8,000-9,500 feet.
Among other things, the inability to process oxygen properly causes a decrease in cognitive functioning (Hey, why am I toting this cumbersome oxygen tank? I'll just leave it here and pick it up on my way down...). In addition, High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE) causes a build-up of fluid in the lungs, and if it gets really bad, you can literally drown. Not fun, even before it gets to that stage.
For those severely affected by it, HAPE generally starts at altitudes around 6,000-7,000 feet. The summit of Mount Everest is above 29,000 feet, so to answer the OP's original question, no, I'm not going. But the rest of you should be fine. Have fun! (And bring oxygen.)

OK, jimkirk1234, based on Call.Me.Ishmael's resonable comment, I'll try to help you out.
You said, "driving from Alabama to Virginia...looking to stop somewhere in NC... Obviously, high mileage / extras are a plus..."
I don't know your exact route, but you will likely be passing through some of the absolute worst states in the U.S. for strip-clubbing: Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Your best bet is to plan to drive through Georgia and stop in Atlanta.
North Carolina strip clubs are notorious for high prices, extremely low mileage, and no extras. Your best chance for extras is at Southside Johnny's in Greensboro, which is the state's only nude club (which, btw, means no alcohol). It is a mid-tier club at best, often not open until 10:30 pm and closes at 4:00 am. The cover is a whopping $40, and the last person to post a review said he had to pay $30 to park, which is the only time I've ever seen a report of being charged for parking there.
I visited SSJ while passing through last December and reported in my review about additional prices changes: "the two private rooms are now $160 for 15 minutes and $310 for 30 minutes – up from $140 and $260 as recently as this past September. " If you're lucky, extras might happen, but you will pay an additional premium for that on top of the room fee.
You may also pay with your life. Since my last visit to SSJ, there was yet another shooting there -- inside the club -- where six people were injured and another died from his gunshot wounds. Just sayin'. https://app.tuscl.net/discussion/81904
Good luck.

^ I agree with mark94 that "more likely, it [fentanyl] was unknowing in another pill/drug he took."
From what I've seen on the news, 1) almost every street drug these days has at least some fentanyl in it, and 2) it doesn't take much fentanyl to kill you. It's a scourge.

I looked at the Google Maps Street View, and yes, I saw the car in question (which I have seen in person). I also noticed in the photo that the license plates on all the cars in the parking lot have been blurred out. Obviously, someone at Google Maps has our back!

Living well and enjoying my retirement
I love Willie -- always have -- but I was surprised that he's being honored, apparently, for his contributions to rock and roll. What among his voluminous catalog of great music have I missed that fits that genre? Is it that he wrote "Night Life" which was a big hit for BB King and recorded by a number of others across multiple genres? It's got to be more than just that, right?

A catch-all account
flubber123, welcome to TUSCL. While you have VIP status here, spend time reading reviews of a *whole lot* of clubs in your area to learn what might be available and how much things cost. BE is a nice club, but the prices are high and the mileage is low. Be sure to read reviews for the clubs in City of Industry (might also be listed as being in La Puente), where you will find that for what you paid at BE (or less), you are very likely to be able to do more than anything you, as a strip club newbie, could ever imagine possible.

They never tell you what you need to know.
I take very good care of my teeth, but minor dental problems run in my family and I’ve had my share over the years. Having a "sweet tooth" doesn’t help, I’ll admit.
I’ve lived in seven different states as an adult and have had quite a few different dentists. The best ones – for a number of reasons – have all been women. My current dentist of 16+ years is a real hottie and would be in demand at any strip club in the country.
Back in the 1990s, I had a dentist whom I liked. He was young-ish, pretty hip, fun to talk to, and did excellent work. At the time, there was a lot of bad press about long-term problems with silver amalgam fillings (of which I had a few) and he convinced me to have them replaced with gold. My insurance fully covered it (man, those were the days), so it was no big deal. A few years later, I saw him driving a Lamborghini around town, which made me stop and think, and I switched to a new dentist. Shortly after that, he lost his license and went to prison for insurance fraud. That said, 30 years later those free gold fillings are still in perfect shape. 😁

TUSCL’s #1 Soothsayer!
@JamesSD: "I'll admit I'm concerned without scrub's downvotes, even more bad reviews are going to slip through."
I'm not sure that scrub kept very many reviews from slipping through, as there are a number of TUSCLers who approve pretty much anything.
Scrub was one of them. For quite a while, scrub would approve every single submission, either inserting a "club ad" comment along with his approval, or, once they were posted, would call the suspect ones "club ads" in the comment section after he had already approved them. He admitted doing this, saying he wanted members to see the miscreants. More than anything else, I think he did it so *he* could be seen as the One and Only Supreme Protector of TUSCL.
Think about it: If scrub wanted to tell a suspected promoter that he should contact founder and pay for an ad, he could have done that in a comment with his downvote, which would have been seen by the miscreant even if enough people rejected the review. Instead, he seemed to relish the attention of a wider audience. No matter what his motives were, the bottom line is that scrub did very little to prevent bad reviews from slipping through.

Wow, Tudo58, kinda snippy response there -- and totally uncalled for. Brahma2k makes several good points in his comment and did so without being snarky.
As for your saying, "I'm not going to re-hash what's already been said multiple times for people that aren't in WI and will never visit the club" -- I'm not in WI, but I travel a lot, have friends in WI, and might actually visit the club. If I have to go back and read a couple dozen reviews before I finally get some helpful details, how will I know if what they said is still current?
