Uncomfortable Tension In The Air Here

Decided to drop by here on a whim yesterday evening after a client dinner at Ruth Chris Steakhouse and boy was that a mistake. I had recently had two very good experiences here back to back, which is a rarity these days on the clubbing circuit, but tonight really torpedoed my initial perception of this club. Seems like new management has no idea how to properly operate this club, nor do they have any idea how to persuade/entice guys to actually come here on a consistent basis. No wonder they take 60 percent of the dancer’s revenue from their VIPs - it just seems like a messy free for all, wild Wild West mentality between the management and dancers here and it was on full display during this visit.

Came here around 10pm and paid the “Valet guy” 10 dollars to park my car right in front of the door of the club. The club is in a sketchy area and I have a very nice car so plain view is better than parking in the dark corner of the lot behind the hand car wash. Threw the valet an extra 5 spot as a tip because he’s always cordial, even when sitting on the booster chair in cold weather. They should probably invest in a heat lamp for the poor guy. Especially since he’s there until closing every single day. Food for thought in case management reads these reviews. Walked in and slid the door guy 20 bucks to enter the turn style/curtain and in I went.

Unfortunately, this time the entire place was packed with dudes, highly unusual for a Wednesday night at a club in LA. The female to male ratio was completely effed up, which is why I prefer day shift. And to make matters worse, the quality of dancers was absolutely atrocious on this evening . All of the Colombian beauties from my last visit were not present and most of the dancers were not very attractive. Some had decent bodies, but were facially unattractive. Some dancers do a very good job of cleaning up, and others do not. In this case, it was the latter.
