^^ I believe it was due to reconstruction, for which the motherland (England) helped us recover financially until we could rebound to our feet. Not sure at what rates they were paying then, but now we’re paying over 5% on our debt compared to 2-3% last year. Powell us in a quandary but inflation is dropping hard and fast since summer of ‘22, saving Powells ass to stop raising . Oh, I told you so!

It’s been noted in all the history books I had growing up from elementary, primary to post secondary schooling that the civil war was about economics, and slavery was simply an aside to what the main topic was at war.

It’s cathartic whenever people share their experiences with you, knowing as a common element humans like to be assured what they’re going through with loss is very emotional. I can’t remember how I treated clubbing after the close losses of immediate family members, so maybe be that’s good that I treated them consistently as always. I do remember during 9-11-2001 that a guy lost somebody close in the towers, and he was literally throwing wads of cash at the stage and drinking. He mourned to all the strippers and there was 2 dancers that said they weren’t comfortable taking his cash.

I disagree. I don’t think a review should include tmi. Trivial shit like “what did you chat about” has little relevance to the reader. Dancer quality, dancer responsiveness, volume of dancers, mileage, music volume and type, drink prices, and wait staff service are relevant. Include these things and you’re sure to get approved along with if you know the difference your experience will be day vs night.

Looking at your short history of discussions created, you’re not in the correct head space to be clubbing. A break is good for you considering the topics you’re dwelling on. Wait until you can focus on some of the quality aspects of other variables in your life, and when you’re secure in those (career and relationships), that’ll give you perspective on where this hobby fits in a normal
Productive life. Come back clubbing when you don’t need it, and you’ll enjoy it.

Way underpaid. One if the reasons why quality teachers leave the fields in droves when they can work in another industry for more $$ and less hassle. Whenever somebody points out all the time off, they need to be reminded that during their “time off” they’re working second jobs just maintain a liveable wage, and keep in mind there is continuing education development and lesson plans during their “time off” that is necessary just to keep up witt the adjusters tone aspects. Summer time every teacher works another job, and most take up extra curricular activities at school.
Other cultures pay they’d teachers let viable wages and have quality long term employees. Some public schools in affluent areas have liveable wages, but not in lower socioeconomic areas. You get what you pay for, and that isn’t much I’m low income areas.

I was talking to a well known local whale a couple years ago. All the dancers flock to him and he buys them drinks, has a lot of $$, so he has high dollar vehicles. Said he let this Hiliter stripper take his car for an evening, but she never brought it back. I think it was a Porsche or even more exotic car. Story goes she could give two shits about the car, ended up letting someone else drive it and the police found it stranded out in the desert a couple weeks later beaten and destroyed after the whale reported it missing. Funny thing was he told the story all with a genuine smile without remorse. He enjoys telling a good story more than hearing about one. Insurance company’s problem mostly, but he did say it was a hassle finding out where the car was.

With drink prices increasing, why not splurge a little for the customers and treat them to popcorn? I bet their bartenders and wait staff would rather not pop it, though.

Diesel and jet fuel has dropped by 50% since summer of ‘22. The drop in fuel price is the biggest reason why there has been a reprieve in the escalating flight prices this spring. I wish I would have waited before buying my tickets in February. I’ve noticed a couple drug dealers dropping stacks on the stage and going to vip. Seen that twice this past month. Used to find a doctor (or nurse) go to the Hiliter in his scrubs when I was there. Not sure if he still does that because I stopped frequenting that place.
