Muddy, I aināt hiding my bias against NY based teams. That being said my favorite part about āMad Dogā is whenever Sour Shoes from the Stern show imitates him to a tee! Todayās show had them both on simultaneously and I couldnāt tell the two apart. Fake āMad Dogā was telling the real āMad Dogā what he had to do in order to save face. Stern eventually dropped sour shoes off the call to erase any confusion. Hopefully we all get to see Chris Russo in a Dbacks Speedo out on those Manhattan Streets this week.

Hell yeah! From 110 losses two years ago to knocking out the beast (Philly)from the east for the NL Pennant! Humble brag, but my post (2weeks ago) about the big market teams deflating in favor of smaller markets, due to development within the organization from the bottom up and use of the draft.

My prognostication skills are spot on, but no way could I predict a 6th seeded team that lost its last 4 games of the regular season, to turn it around and win it all against the Rangers. Iām just glad the Astros lost and the Yankees of the National League flopped.
This years American/National League Championships has the highest viewership in 5 years, but without an east coast or west coast team in the Series, my guess is ratings will be down, even though Texas has a strong fan base. Snakes alive!

Back on topic, if youāre regularly taking breaks from the hobby, youāll have a good Governor balancing out your health (mental, financial, physical) to eventually return as low nag as youāre alive. If you quit, why did you even start the hobby to begin with? I got to question why one would come to a such a drastic decision to end it like that (quitting), unless they had serious issues with other aspects of their life, like mental health.

Snakes alive(no I donāt mean stupid lawyers)! Phillies get snake bitten again for a second night. Home crowd advantage is evident. Phillies have gone the way of the Yankees model, so the D-Backs have a huge challenge ahead but never would have thought a 6th seeded team could come back like they have from a 100 loss season 2 years ago. 2-2 is what we do, but itās a must win game at home if they hope to squeeze one out in Philly. Home field is a big advantage, especially against large market teams like the Phillies. Great games these last two nights. Sad to see Houston come back. Hoping to see Rangers back in it.

I dated one 20 years ago. Found out she was married to a pilot, and he confronted me and said it was ok. Anyway, his flight attendant wife wanted to drop him and have a child with me. It got weird quick. Never figured I would break a heart of a married flight attendant. End of story.

In skidumbās case it was due to his fragile emotional state. He admitted he couldnāt handle it anymore, and to his credit he recognized his weakness in handling stripper shit to no avail, and decided his best course of action is to stay away. I think once youāre emotionally too fragile to handle the clubsā activity you know your time is up.
