Since i joined TUSCL, I find myself reminiscing all the time about my SC history. So many crazy late nites of slipping into dark clubs, some of them pretty damn dangerous, but I was so young and stupid I looked at the whole thing as one grand adventure. Oh, and thanks for reminding me of the butt-dialing Blackberries. Mine caused me constant problems.

@GACAclub - you'll have to explain that one to me Shailynn - I hated hearing that too. I wonder how many real undercover cops have ever been asked that by a stripper?

Same here, GoVikings. I hate it when guys with great careers try to extend their stay in the NFL with a 1 year move to another team. I understand they want the money, and the NFL is a business, but I still prefer the greats to stick to a single team.

PhantomGeek, that was my first experience with Hooters. It was full of snooty, nasty girls who shilled out expensive crappy food and overpriced beer. I was amazed that I found a Hooters I actually liked, though I would have preferred to be hanging out at a nice SC.

When I was younger, I used to make fun of the place. I actually grew to like it when I lived in DC. The clubs around me all were completely lame and hellishly expensive. At Hooters, I could get some affordable big beers and watch women and sports. It was actually a better deal. Hey, sometimes you have to take what you can.

A friend of mine owned a Chinese restaurant he decided to convert into a strip club, part of the Christie's franchise. The plan was to tear down the old building and replace it with a Vegas style structure. It looked like a great deal because he was situated off a major highway and in the middle of a high-end shopping area. He actually received immediate approval from the town council until someone supposedly looked over the plans again and saw the place had a changing area with lockers. Only then, the council claimed, did they realize it was going to be a strip club. They then re-voted and blocked the approval. The owner ended up hiring an attorney, and a year later he finally broke ground on the club. Very expensive bullshit.

Sounds like a scam. I'll be sure to steer clear.

Damn. There are some really sad stories here. I just remembered the time I started getting a dance from a girl who told me she had one child at home and another "near death" in the hospital. She was so visibly upset, I just paid her and told her she could end the dance early. As for granny dancers, I've seen a few become bartenders. It has to be gut-wrenching realizing you're too old for the business or having a manager send you on the way.

Jackslash, I was in a club last summer and saw something similar. I had a great VIP experience with a tall blonde. When it was over she apologized that it wasn't better because she was thinking about her mother's funeral the next day. She was paying for it as well.

Good points. When I read how much other guys are paying, I try to keep my offers in the same ballpark. As you said, you never know if a girl is getting ready to leave and is willing to cut a deal or if there's more going on.

You're approaching this too much from the perspective of "winning"--getting the most for your money. We all want that, but let's focus on the fun. Honestly, the best times I've had occurred when I set my expectations aside and just hit a club to relax and see what happens. As far as getting as good a deal as the next guy, I try to keep in mind that not all club reports are accurate. Guys can be competitive and may not report what they actually spent because they don't want to be accused of overpaying. If one guy says he spent $150 for FS in VIP, the next guy probably isn't going to admit he spent $180. That's like admitting you "lost." Just have fun!
