Thank you guys for the feedback and suggestions, except for Alucard, you really out to do something about that bug in your ass.
She is about the only drawback to a club that is otherwise fun and laid-back. What she's doing probably isn't good for business anyway, and none of the other dancers I know like her, so I suppose a complaint to the manager is justified if she doesn't give it up.

Rachel, your pics are fantastic and you have the attitude to match. A beautiful girl that is intelligent and having fun dancing isn't all that common. Even if you feel like you don't really know what you're doing yet, your attitude and personality will come through for you.

I wouldn't say she's rude, she just has this annoying fake accent that I guess is supposed to be sexy but just comes off as stupid to me. I'll just ask her directly why she doesn't give up and use Gawker's line if I need to.

So far I've tried the rest room trick, but I didn't stay in there. I've also kept my eyes glued to the TV and gone up to the stage to have another dancer rescue me when she got done.
I've noticed her dancing before, it's just not something I care to watch. She will eventually go away when she sees someone else to pitch, but it's the same shit every time I go in there. I'm fine with buying drinks for dancers I like or just while they're killing time, as long as I don't feel like driving a railroad spike through my forehead while having a conversation with them. I've just never encountered a stripper that keeps trying after more than a couple of attempts, that's always been enough to make them realize they won't be getting any money from me.

I'm starting to wonder if this just another fake story/troll post type of thing. Now you're worried about the possibility of hand jobs 20 years in the past. Suck it up, Buttercup, and get the fuck over it!!
If the kicks in the ass you're getting here aren't sufficient for you to get past it, go get some counseling where someone will handle you with kid gloves and ring you up for thousands of dollars over multiple sessions. It is 100% your problem, and if you do break up with her over it, you still need to fix it before getting involved with anyone else. If you can't handle something as petty as that, what can you handle?

If anyone needs counseling here it's the OP. She confided something that was clearly a humiliating experience for her that happened 20 years ago. It sounds like she was essentially forced to strip but couldn't do it for more than 3 weeks; it boggles my mind that you would even assume that if some of the strippers engaged in extras that she also must have in her short stint as a dancer. Get over it by whatever means are necessary for you, or if you must just break up with her for a reason that to me is just utterly ridiculous.

Like most I would have just paid the $100 and been done with her, but I'm a little surprised at the negative reactions. If the tables were turned and the customer had been ripped off, people would likely just chalk it up as a lesson learned. Paying the $100 in singles would have been funny, but she would probably keep trying to pull that same shit repeatedly.
She may not change her ways, but at least he gave her the opportunity to learn two valuable lessons for a measly $20.
1) There is more value in cultivating repeat customers than being a ROB.
2) Count your money before leaving the table.
Bottom line, I think she deserved getting shorted for the exact amount that she tried to overcharge and I applaud Sinclair for doing it. If she learned anything from it, one could even make the argument that his actions were in her best interest.

Honestly man, being out $200 isn't nearly as bad as it could have been. If you aren't careful, a lot could go wrong trying to get together for some OTC time with someone you've never even seen before.
Last month someone I went to high school with got rolled and had his skull fractured in two places when he was on a first date with someone he met on some dating site. It all points to more of a setup than a coincidence, the chic he was out with wasn't the one who called 911. He was eventually released from the hospital but took a fall at home and spent the last couple days of his life unconscious on life support.
It's hard enough to trust people these days anyway, don't put yourself in a risky spot trusting someone you don't know that essentially gets paid to bullshit you.

Your offers may have sent off some red flags, regardless it sounds like it turned out for the best anyway. I'm sure you can cross Demi off, but in the future you might just try tipping a five on stage. That always seems to work without even asking them to come over.

I don't know man, I think the best way to find out is to take a stab at some free OTC time the next time you're in town.
I have my own recent conundrum of trying to detect SS from a girl that tried to hand back the money for a few LD's.

Everything about this review is untrue, it should really be removed. As everyone knows, lap dances are $10 here. Drinks are as a cheap as any strip club or bar in Lawrence, and they're poured with an automatic counter so they are consistent but not weak. I really doubt the bathroom was clean either ;).

I know #5 is annoying and unprofessional in almost every way, but the one thing I can see it being useful for is responding to a regular customer texting to see if she's busy.

I enjoyed your article and wish you the best. You're obviously intelligent which is something many dancers are not; some of us that frequent strip clubs actually do appreciate a good conversation. Best of luck with the exercise regimen, you might give cycling a try for a good low impact cardio workout if you live somewhere where the weather is conducive to that.
