Not sure if this what you're referencing but The US Department of Agriculture has a complex of buildings a mile or so away on Route 1, closer to the Beltway.

@cocodoc - You might try Showcase in Beltsville for lap dances. It's a lot more $$ than Sins ever was. My suggestion is to sit in the row of chairs in front of the stage. The place near Showcase @wallanon references is The Body Shop. I have no recent experience there. It is fairly pricey too, especially if your comparison point is Sins.

I'm amazed you found street parking on a Friday night. Is the sportsbook area accessible without paying the cover?

I was mid 20's. Went to Archibald's in DC. Got as far as walking upstairs to the second floor entrance and chickened out and turned back around. My first actual visit was at the Brass Stables in Nashville a year or two later. I LDKd from a table dance, long before I had any knowledge of that expression :)

@funonthaside - It is remarkable that the $30 topless dance price is unchanged a decade later. It was expensive then. It is still expensive IMHO.

Private dances are $40 per song totally naked or $30 per song topless. And it's $20 for the room fee each time you go back with a different dancer. They got rid of the communal LD area which didn't have a room fee. If the cover is truly $40 now, you're out a minimum of $90 just for one song. That's crazy IMHO.

Thanks for this review. Based off my one post-pandemic visit, I'd agree with your assessment that things have changed. Did you tip the dancer after your disappointing dance?

@aleccorbett, it's definitely swung heavily Latina now. A lot of the former Caucasian and AA dancers have moved on. It's a different vibe than it was pre-pandemic.
Within the last month I paid a $30 cover. I hope it didn't go up to $40.

I don't do Venmo or similar cash apps. Is there any process to dispute a transaction after the fact? Or once you hit send, it's gone forever.

@PC - $40 per song nude in VIP is the going rate in Beltsville. So you really don't have much choice in this neck of the woods if a nude dance is what you're looking for.
@Mr_M - Is there a room fee on top of the per song price in VIP? Also are topless dances in the communal LD area behind the bar now $20 per song? Those had gone up to $30 per song a while back.

Congrats. This is probably the funniest review I've encountered on this site. Haven Place has been on my list for several years. This review does not dissuade me. Thank you for posting.

@Zero100 - I believe they are in fact closed for good. They are listed as such on this site. I drove by there a few months back on a Saturday night and all the lights were out except for the emergency exit sign. The weird things to me were there were no signs on the door saying they were closed and the parking lot was not chained off. If I had to guess, I'd say that Mitzi's death probably started some downward spiral and the next generation either didn't want to, or couldn't afford to, keep the place operating. The last FB post was May 2021, which was after my March '21 driveby. Too bad that the number of places in that neck of the woods keeps shrinking.

I got a $30 topless dance within the last week. I wonder if the changing of the calendar to July brought with it a change in pricing?

That is the going rate for a nude LD in my neck of the woods (Prince George's County MD). No 2 for 1 specials here to my knowledge.

Would have to agree with the above comment, Fell's Point is not scary. I may get hammered for this opinion, but I feel The Block is much more scary despite police HQ being located at the one end of the street.

Is it $10 per song in the comfy chairs on the perimeter as well as in the other chairs that alongside the round tables? Then you have the private area which is a completely different set of pricing that seems to be based on multiples of 4 songs? The pricing structure here confuses me.

Yikes, $30 for a Tito's and soda. That's crazy. I haven't been to Camelot in years. With those drink prices it may be a while longer before I return.

Cheaper cover options than $8? Really? Admittedly $175 for 15 minutes is a tad high IMHO. But if there is no additional room fee on top then it's not outrageous. Just my $.02

@jimmymcnulty - Showcase has largely become Fuego, especially since reopening post-shutdown. The vast majority of the dancers are Latin/Central American as the reviewer points out.

Interesting, well-written review. Thanks for posting. I have often wondered about how/if stage tipping was handled in Canadian clubs.

@jaying84 - Haven't been there since last Fall. This is a depressing review. Curious how you spent $40 if you only paid the $25 cover and got no dances? Did you purchase beverages?

Prince George's County is likely your best bet for ITC. If you're interested in OTC my thought would be to hit up a club or two first to scope things out and then just ask if OTC is a possibility. The ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful.

@OG12346 Playhouse doesn't open 'til 6, otherwise it would have been my choice.
