It pays to shop around at renewal time. Geico jacked my car insurance rates 40 bucks per month and I have a clean record. State Farm gave me the exact same coverage for 76 bucks less per month than the old rate.

Emerson Lake and Palmer in Carbondale Illinois in 1977. It was my first ever concert. Kansas in 1980 also in Carbondale. I had third row seats for that show and number 3 was the Talking Heads at Poplar Creek Out door amphitheater near Chicago for their stop making sense tour in 1983. It is a shame they closed poplar creek down. It was a fine place to watch a show under the stars.

Ratting, I worked with some who did the Earnhardt move on someone on the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago. There were 2 squad cars waiting for him when he pulled up to his house!

Never been there but it is a 20 minute ride from my house. After reading your review I will give it a hard pass. 80 bucks just to stroll in the door is ridiculous!

This is not follies specific but I met a dancer at her house right from the club and had an excellent time. I drive a truck cross country and she wants to meet up when I get back in town. Wants cash for a 55 inch TV but has been hesitant to talk on the phone always wants to text. This lady is probably gonna get kicked to the curb and it is ashame. The roll in the hay at her house was off the chain.

Never been there but if you drop a little south along the I-78 corridor you can hit up Vic's!! That place sounds like extras heaven!!

Excellent write up!!

I saw it live for a couple of years when they were running a road course they had set up at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The racing was incredible!! It makes the AMA racing I have seen at Road America in Wisconsin look like training wheel races. The spectating at Road America is much nicer than Indy however.

I would like to know if that ROB was tossed out of there permantly. They recently changed owners but the couple of times I have been in there since, the atmosphere seemed to be the same. I may have to take a ride and check this out. I have had good visits in the past.

I have a trac phone as a spare. Just a flip phone to call and text only. It has saved me when the main phone decides to malfunction. Driving a truck cross country with no phone is not an option.

Nice review!! I also like the black clubs and this place has been on my radar. Since I drive a truck over the road I will have to do some research and see if there is a truck stop close enough to grab an Uber from. Thanks for the write up Papi.

I am a craft beer person. If a club does not have some craft offering I will get a Heniken. If they don't have that, it's Miller time! They use rice in Budweiser products and for whatever reason it gives me an instant headache.

I have a customer that is close to that club. That neighborhood does not look good. It is also not far from the v-live club in Shadowcats link. I have rolled by both clubs and from the outside they don't look like anything special.

I went into the blue flame years ago and almost got molested by a female bouncer who patted me down. I thought wow it might be good inside. Nope. Lots of eye candy, no touch. It's a shame I drive a truck and it is right across the street from the truck stop. I won't be back.

I texted a dancer I know works at Temptations and she said it is still open.

I would like to check out Follies, definitely sounds like a good time. My only experience with Atlanta was at the Blue Flame and that was a waste of time and money. I have read some of the reviews of other clubs you have said are worth checking out. Not always easy in the truck.
