That does not make them "African-American" (a term I absolutely hate btw) in the context that it is used. The term is implies an ethnicity, not origin of nativity.

@TFP That's patently false. Strip clubs are no where near the solvency and profitability they had before rap/hip-hop took over. Moreover, my post is about how the rise of thug rap was just a preview of what was coming to all of America. The preview is over. The main feature is now playing.

It certainly ended for strip clubs after rap culture took it over. The same culture that's about to kill sports too. It's one of the largest revenue streams blacks produce in this country. And they're going to kill it. That essentially is a demonstration as to why blacks can't succeed on their own.

For a while rap music was positive and was more about getting an education. Now it's materialistic, anti-communal (except for the community of thugism), sexist, homophobic and racist. Now I can admit that as an art form rap and hip-hop are legit and deserves accolades for reinventing popular music. The film "Birth of a Nation"(1915) is an art form too, but it's message is reprehensible. Same goes for rap/hip-hop from the last twenty years.

Their deaths are sacrificed so that the white liberals can sleep well at night. Because if the stepdad had killed the suspect...

@JamesSD Boomers stuggled through the worse economic period since the great depression. Interest rates were around 12%, food prices were expensive relative to income. And appliances televisions, washing machines, etc., were very costly. You youngun's are simply looking at what took boomer's lifetime to accumulate. Even now (and in the 2008 "crisis") it was far easier to buy a house than it was 30-50 years ago.

That is pure nonsense. I did have a bit of respect for Carlson, seeing him as a straight shooter. But that is nonsense. You might deplore Obama's policies (which frankly were previously GOP policies), but the character assassination is clearly off-base.

Trump is the reason the democrats and liberals have the hubris they have now. They know Trump is done. The democrats would play less to the left if republicans had someone else other than Trump. That's why you don't put zealots like Trump in office. They kill your party in the long run.

Both parties have had their share absurdity over the last couple of decades and a half. Right now the democrats are far ahead of the GOP in insanity. But then again they have a lot of years to catch up with GOP absurdity.

You'd have to be pretty ignorant of music to list the Beatles as over-rated. They are the greatest recording artists of all time. Now if you want to ding them on their live concerts (even though they actually played live well, given the circumstances), but that in know tarnishes their overall reputation.

^ Downtown Austin area was hoodville on weekend nights when I left there three years ago. Given recent events this is totally expected, and I believe their were a few other incidents as well. Austin is going to end up being the next Portland.
