While I'm all for the right to bear firearms etc., I just don't understand the need. Or the desire, or whatever it is.
I mean, really, how many places in the US does a private citizen really need to carry a firearm? I just don't see the need.
Personally, I suspect it's similar to the need that some people have to own rottweilers and other dogs who will rip your face off while they chew on your nuts. And I think it comes down to fear. Some people are just so freaking afraid of everything that they acquire killer dogs, and carry firearms, etc.
In all my years I've never needed to own or carry a firearm in public. And I think that's generally I'm not a fearful guy.

I agree with bellman. Somewhat surprisingly, IMO, most "strip clubs" outside the US (such as Rio de Janiero, Mexico, SE Asia, etc.) are in fact brothels. Which is kind of unfortunate, IMO. It's like an all or nothing proposition. Personally, I prefer a VHM strip club experience, but you don't get that, you get either an in-house bordello or, mostly, you pay a "bar fine" (like in SE Asia) to take the girl to a nearby hotel where you fuck her.
Which I've never really understood. Because to many cultures, presumably, a VHM stripper would not be as ostracized as a full blown hooker. So you'd think VHM clubs would be easier. But I guess most men are only interest in doing the deed straightaway.

True. LMN would be a better judge of whether helping to inject someone with heroin is a standard practice or that of a murderer, but just because she is charged doesn't mean that she murdered him with intent, etc.
Anyway, yes, as with anything there are degrees. But in the scheme of things, I think it's safe to say that given a choice between "she really cares for him" and "she only cares for his money/drugs", in most situations with strippers/hookers, the truth would be closer to the latter.

I said it's a matter of degree. But the basic feeling in most strippers/hookers is, IMO, similar. From a total disrespect for their customers, to an ability to step over his dying body without a tinge of compassion.
I contend that in order to be in this line of work, where sex is involved with strangers, these girls have to develop a different mindset. So comparing what they would do to what you would do is comparing apples to oranges.

I recall years ago there was a lingerie barber shop a few blocks away from the Tropical Lei in Upland, CA. It was a flash in the pan I think, it didn't last long as far as I could tell. And I was never in the area enough to try it. But it seems like it could be a great idea if implemented well.
A combination haircut and lapdance? I mean a haircut can be pretty/very/insanely sensual if done right by your girlfriend. So with a hot stripper who happens to know how to cut hair reasonably well, it could be pretty awesome. Start out with a shampoo massage, get some good music playing, she's dancing and trimming, maybe an oil massage...damn, I could deal with that.

I love black women. I often prefer black women. I've dated black women. And Asian women. And some/most stereotypes are based in some bit of reality. If you don't believe that you're dreaming.
Anyone who has been to some of the black clubs in the LA hood that I frequent knows very well that most black strippers are FAR more open to very/super high mileage than the average white stripper. And that's a good thing, not a bad/biased stereotype. It reflects, IMO, an attitude that is less selfish and more ready to please than many white girls. That's a good thing, IMO.
My only point here was a SENSE that in recent years the general attitudes of dancers seems to be changing overall towards a more self centered attitude. Maybe I'm wrong. Now you're free to blame that on my if it helps you feel better, but since none of you know squat about how I treat dancers, only your personal biases and stereotypes, I'd suggest you tap the brakes on your opinions a bit.
I also see this as one aspect of a general cultural shift towards a more self centered, instant gratification society, where kids especially seem to thing they should be superstars, and are more concerned about how many LIKES they get than anything.
But maybe I'm wrong.

You're totally missing the point. As a professional she is obligated to help people who require medical attention. She'd do that for you, or anyone she sees.
The point was that, aside from professional obligations, most strippers and hookers have suppressed their emotions in order to do what they choose to do for money. Which is to have sex with some guy they would otherwise not even talk to. I contend that most of these women feel nothing towards their customers, other than a suppressed revulsion.
The only questions is degree. Probably a heroin addict as described in the article has no emotions to suppress. Other girls have to actively suppress their emotions.
But the popular myth around here continues to be that these girls really like you. They don't. It is almost physically impossible for a 23 year old hottie to feel anything of a sexual attraction towards a 60 or 70 year old man.

No story underscores the bottom line on stripper/hooker vs customer/PL relationships better than this one. The girl is there for one reason. The money and/or the drugs. So we take the Viper ACR out of the driveway and drive the Viper ACR down the street to the 24 hour Walgreens, where I park my Viper ACR.
