For those not familiar with Doraville, They have three enormous commuter corridors through the city (the 10-16 lane variety) and very heavily enforce traffic violations.

From the article about Doraville using fines as a major revenue source (and the court ruling they were not out of line to the extent of being illegal). 6th highest rate of fine revenue nationally!
"The lawsuit claimed that Doraville balanced its budget by relying too heavily on code enforcement citations and other fines. Fines and forfeitures accounted for 19% of Doraville’s $13.5 million budget during the 2017-2018 fiscal year, when the lawsuit was filed. For most cities with 5,000 residents or more, less than 1% of their budgets come from fees and fines. While ruling for the city, the judge nevertheless found the high percentage concerning,” the Institute for Justice said in the release, “and noted that Doraville was included in a recent report by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights as the sixth worst city nationwide in reliance on fines and fees.”

Well, the story also quotes the club's layer several times. The article does say that they have lost their appeals and keep filing lawsuits which they appear to never win.
From the police chief:
“Since coming within the city limits of Doraville eight years ago, Oasis Goodtime Emporium has been in violation of city laws on every occasion that our officers have visited the establishment,” Doraville Police Chief Chuck Atkinson said in the release. “Time and again, Oasis has flagrantly violated our laws and multiple court rulings. We trust that this new evidence offers enough proof that Oasis has no basis to continue operating in disregard of the city’s court-tested laws.”
The article says that at the end of 2019, a judge ordered Oasis to cease operations. However, the nightclub has openly ignored that injunction and filed a new lawsuit that claims Doraville is trying to run it out of business by targeting it with citations and fines.
Oasis, represented by attorney Alan Begner, has mostly lost its multiple lawsuits against the city during the past eight years. His most recent lawsuit added to claims that Doraville pads its budget with a disproportionate amount of code enforcement and traffic fines.
“Doraville’s actions (Tuesday) were needlessly aggressive, and are just the latest in a long line of attempts by the city to deny Oasis due process through force and intimidation,” Begner’s law firm said in an emailed statement. “All Oasis has ever asked for is a trial in DeKalb County Superior Court, and every maneuver by Doraville has been calculated to deny Oasis that opportunity.”
There is a side article that says a Federal judge rules Doraville’s fines, fees were not illegal
Doraville City Manager Chris Eldridge said it’s time for Oasis to close its doors for good.
“We have documented countless examples of Oasis breaking our city’s laws, which is why the courts have repeatedly sided with the City since 2013,” he said in the release. “This property has become a nuisance to the city and the surrounding community, which includes multiple residential homes and an elementary school just a quarter of a mile down the road.”
If they are really going to be shut down, they might as well stop trying to follow any rules and allow Follies style full contact dick out lap dances on the main floor. At least at the high tops.

Since 1963 ...
I failed one at a club. This was in August or September and I had been outside in the parking lot talking to someone. She took it two more times withing 30 seconds and got three different readings around 100, 99 and 98. She just shrugged and said it was not very accurate. If she took 3-4 readings and they were all high she would send me away.
Recently at the same club I heard two guys talking as they came out. One said to the other "101.5, dude you better go to the doctor". I assume "The Dude" got turned away. Luckily the out door and the in door are widely separated and I just waited a minute for his virus cloud to dissipate. I was also fully vaccinated by then.

I doubt the Clermont Lounge in Atlanta has hired a dancer under 40 in the last 20 years.

The first time I ever saw MGK was in the HBO Roadies series. I thought he was pretty good in that.

I find it is really hard to get a stripper to pay me what I consider a fair price for sex.

Oh, when I say booths, I mean retaurant style booth seating, not lap dance booths.

So one thing different about the "White" ATL area clubs (and I believe almost all clubs) is there is no "lap dance room". Your choices are $10 table side dances ( a couple of clubs have booths on the open floor that are a bit more private) or the full blown VIP rooms where several clubs offer extras (the % of dancers offering varies).
You missed the boat on Follies which was an open room orgy compared to the clubs that are left. RIP. Diamonds, Vivide and Platinum are trying to replace it but are a pale substitute. They also have mostly non-white dancers.
Opinions vary, but for a combination of looks and mileage, Tattletale's would be my recommendation. Read the reviews as it can be hard to get attention there. It is the only white club where you can touch and get away with it. Good lookers at Oasis, but little touching is tolerated in either direction (really none by you). Pink Pony and Cheetah are essentially no touch places with good looking girls.
You may read reviews that describe a bit more on-the-floor mileage at a few of them (mine included) but those are regulars that know the right girls, right place to sit, etc.

Most European cities have trams and buses that will get you almost anywhere. Trains for longer trips. Public transport does not have the stigma over there like the US.

Platinum Plus in Greenville used to give all change in $2 bills. They said it was to show the effect they had on the local economy.
Uncle Leo made a concerted effort to shut them down. Coincidence or did the local church ladies cringe at all the $2 bill they got in change, knowing they had been put in some stripper's garter by their husbands?

I walked out of the office at 2 PM today because I had made all I needed to make my car payment. My cable bill is due Monday so I guess I have to work Sunday.

I ate lunch today where I could see the gas station next door. People in line for 45 minutes and when they got to the pump the topped off their car (most pumped for 2 minutes or less. Many of them of them had 1-3 gas cans anywhere from 1 to 5 gallon variety. One lady filled three milk jugs and put them in the back seat with her toddler in the car seat.
I also saw that 75% of the dozen or so stations I passed were out of gas.
The crazy thing was on the news they showed stations in Chicago and Cleveland out of gas. They are nowhere near that pipeline.

It's worse. Some idiot on the local news said all commerce could come to a halt because there would be no fuel for trucks. My local Publix had somewhat empty shelves and long lines. People panic buying because of this. Yes, the toilet paper aisle was empty.

They never tell you what you need to know.
Springsteen's albums from 72-84 were incredible. His last good album was 37 years ago. Maybe add The Rising in 2002.
Agree on several others mentioned.

I've been clubbing in the same city for over 30 years. I have probably had dances from close to 1000 different dancers (just guessing). I have VIP'd with dozens of different dancer. Probably over 100.
That is a drop in the bucket for all dancers in ATL since I really frequent 3-4 clubs.
Let's say there have been 200-300 I have at least danced with in the last 5 years. Not a stretch. Add them to my list of "acquaintances" out in the world. How often do you run into someone you know out of the blue in an unexpected place? Pretty often. For every stripper I notice I bet I pass 4-5 that I don't notice.

I just read the OP article. Holy crap! SMH on so many levels. POC are "underrepresented" int the "sport" of rock climbing? So we need a university course to help "correct" that? To help the POC feel more inclusive in the "sport"?
Is a way to get easy credits for students that need a GPA boost (POC or otherwise)? Even though the Ivy League does not have "athletic" scholarships, wanna bet there are lots of athletes in that class?
I remember in school that all the freshman easy A 1 hour survey courses were filled with football players. Athletes suddenly left for the pro's when the school ran out of classes that they could pass. they would have half the credits needed to graduate, but were almost as far from their degree as when they walked in the door.
So this has now expanded to all students. We don't care if they will ever get a degree. Keep them paying tuition for as long as possible by giving them lots of easy and fun courses to take.
