Someone explain to me how a not overwhelmingly positive but not super negative review is a club ad. For my part this is what the club is like. Might be time for desert scrub to retire.

Yeah, I've gotten that story as well and the rates she claims she gets paid to just go out and hang out are stupid high. Much higher than I'd even pay if sex WAS on table. Makes me think it's big talk, but this dancer was VERY hot and was fun to hang with so maybe there are people dumb enough to do that <shrugs>. I personally can't see it.

It all matches with the experiences I had there. Admittedly, pre-pandemic. It’s a good spot for a low pressure atmosphere type place. Didn’t seem club addy to me.

I never had a problem with it and was good at training my eyes away from stuff I didn't want to see, but it did have an interesting cost one night. There was a somewhat new and super hot dancer there and so I was trying to work her for a dance, she was up on stage and given the rules at Bogies so had to wait, while I was waiting another dancer came by and dragged me up to the room, without asking she zipped me down and buried her face in my crotch, cutie pie dancer walked by, saw what was going on and I couldn't talk to her for the rest of the night. Only thing she said to me was, " You're gross.". Not a big deal and she was welcome to her opinion but I found it amazing that she didn't know how the rules worked at Bogie's.

It’s not all that subjective. Pretty easy to tell if someone is overweight. And yes, this goes for us customers as well.

For the most part getting approached is pretty easy: Smile, make eye contact, tip on stage, and sit somewhere visible all are pretty easy ways to make sure you get approached. I can see having some difficulty if you just go in, sit in the corner by yourself and look angry.
That said, if at a club where there are more guys than girls in a ration of 5:1 or greater, you’re likely not going to get approached even if you do all that as there are too many dudes to manage.

I was more referring to the fact you couldn’t just get a dance without a constant drumbeat of asking for VIP.

So basically it’s like the high school kids in the 90’s who were “seriously into Buddhism”. Looking into another culture for a way for desperately uninteresting people to try to be interesting, got it.
This is about putting the 2 into the alphabet soup, not about the anthropological meaning, which is interesting but I wonder if perhaps over emaphasized and romanticized.

How us this still a thing?, I could only use my card at restaurants, hotels, and vehicular transportation. Trying to use it elsewhere got it declined along with a stern talking to if the report got back. Either someone got lax after I left the service or lawmakers are virtue signalling, but this smells of BS.

Strip clubs in Nashville have some real lookers, so if you want a cheap night to see some really hot chicks get naked, it's your place. Literally everything else about the strip club scene here is a disappointment.

Never had a dancer back up that line, but weirdly, whenever a female bartender tells me I should get a dance from a dancer and the advice is unsolicited, I move heaven and earth to get that dance as that has never gone wrong.

There's too much hatred of it on both the far left and on the far right for it to ever get legalized. You're also not going to find defenders for it that aren't going to get destroyed politically if anyone tries to advance a bill for it. Might be like drugs where you can start to get it decriminalized, but on the whole it's just not happening, strictly regulated and super expensive brothels in Nevada aside.
