    Uh oh!
Stopped by on Friday. Business as usual. Did pick up on a few comments however. One dancer said, "water main break. Club closed Wed and Thurs." Bouncer said, "Water main break." Another dancer said "My girl friend said "Raid earlier in the week and tickets were issued". I assume the tickets were for dancers not carrying their Detroit license. Same thing happened to this club last year. Then, it was a power outage. Why does that shit always seem to occur around strip clubs? The restaurant next door had water and electricity! It's crazy!

    What Makes Her Your ATF?
Gator, I missed the last time this topic was discussed so I'll chime in. Her tits, her charm, her ass, her telling me I'm not allowed to buy dances from others, the way she looks outside the club when I see her, and that little something called "chemistry".

    WHAT'S IMPORTANT?
All of the above with the caveat: I don't like fake, don't like fake tits, fake face (too much make up,etc.), fake personality. Hmm! Would I fuck that? If the answer is 'yes', and she's a halfway interesting person, I'm in like flint.

    Expectations.............
My expectations do vary from visit to visit. Sometimes I am looking at the SC as a corner bar where I can sit back with a drink, a stogie (Oh, that's illegal now)and watch the beautiful scenery. A lot of times on those occasions, I end up with at least a few LD's anyway, but sometimes not. If the club is dead, I may even end up going home early. Sometimes I do go with the intention of lots of LD's, maybe extras, especially when I go with some friends.

    brushes with fame
Barry Sanders in Detroit. I think it was '97, sitting with my, at the time, ATF. She pointed him out to me and said he had been in the club before. He was on the other side of the club and, of course, he's so elusive and quick, he left the club before I could get a really good look at him (so damn dark in those places, too).

What's the most you have ever spent in a strip club?
Probably about $600. Does the fact that it was spread amongst 4 different dancers make me feel any better? No not really...but it was fun! For FS, $160. OK, including drinks $190.

    Smoking ban in Michigan
I totally agree that the establishment's owner should be able to determine whether he/she wants to allow or prohibit smoking. And I do hate going home smelling like stale cigarettes. I can do without that for sure.

Looks-Whatcha Lookin for in a Dancer?
I like variety and that's one of the reasons I frequent SC's. Blonde, brunette, red, short, tall, B-C-D cup, long legs, Latino, Asian, etc. Depends on my mood. But, if you really pushed me for one: long-haired brunette spinner, 5 ft 1 or so, around 110, B or C real on top, with a bubbly personality. Does personality count here?

    Detroit area market shift?
I will be one of the patrons standing in line for judy at Bada Bing. Can't wait... As for Hustler, my 1st visit (opening night)was quite good. However, it's a 100 mile round trip and 8 mile clubs are much closer to me (living in Oakland county where there are exacly zero SC's). Bottom line, as long the legal battle over the new ordinance changes continues, and the lawyers may keep that going for years (who knows?),I'm going to stay in the Detroit clubs mostly. The flip side is, if the new ordinances really take effect, dancers, customers, SC employees, etc. will flee to the 'burbs for sure. So, LP and other cities should probably start preparing for that day; it's inevitable I suppose.

    heels or not?
So, what you're asking is, "Does size matter?" One of my ATF's is 4' 11". I found out when she stood up in the VIP without those 8" heels. I'm only 5'7", but I feel pretty tall compared to her. And, no, it doesn't really matter. Those really tall chicks are the ones that intimidate me. One of my favorite waitresses happened to be leaving the club, at the valet, at the same time as I was. She turns out to be about 5'. I love it, but then you have to consider that I'm vertically-challenged myself.

    Detroit
Went to Penthouse last week, ask the bouncer about the new ordinance: 'Alan (markovitz of course) filed a lawsuit against the city and expects it to drag on for 4 or 5 years." Meanwhile, it's business as usual at PH-for me, it was even better than usual.

Detroit Council Approves Strip Club Regulations
Yes, the Detroit ordinance is changed, but my car still knows how to get me to Inkster, Romulus, Lincoln Park and other ‘burbs that haven’t changed their ordinances (and probably won’t). I’m sure the dancers know how to get Inkster or Romulus, or wherever, dance cards and there will be movement to those clubs. I’ll call it following the money. Judy/judy, I always appreciate your insight on these issues, but here’s a couple more. Last night (at PHC), one dancer who does not do extras, was ecstatic because she thinks she will make money off her personality and looks. “Those skanks who do all the nasty stuff won’t be able to do that any more”, she told me. Another dancer told me she may head to Flight Club. (This is the same dancer who earlier told me that she was tired of “all these guys nickelin and dimin’ me all the time”). I think I will hit all my favorite Detroit clubs in the next 2 weeks and then move on the suburban clubs.

From "Musta123" on Penthouse Club in Detroit
Went to PH yesterday (10/5) for lunch. Me (to bouncer): I heard you didn't have to work last Thursday. Heard the place was closed. Bouncer: Yeah, a transformer blew. Me: Really!! So, you had a power outage here. Bouncer: Yes. Half the bar had power and half the bar didn't have power. Me (snickering to myself as I was seated): OMG, that's hilarious. New code words for being shut down by LE is "transformer blew".
