    Automobile insurance.
My driving mileage has dropped significantly as a result of strip club and gym closures and as a result of working from home. The auto dealership that typically services my car sent me a reminder that I was overdue for my 50,000 mile service.-- not there yet with my reduced daily mileage. It would be nice if the cost of auto service was sensitive to supply and demand pressures. Not likely.

    Favorite Detroit area clubs?
I agree with Linzee about Dream Girls-- when the talent is there, its a good time. The VIPs are roomy and some of the dancers go nude on stage. I don't fully agree that the VIPs at Landing Strip suck. They are on par with Flight Club and slightly more room than BTs. My problem with Landing Strip is the smoke.

    Surviving celibacy during COVID-19
CJ: Good point and I do appreciate a person with some proficiency in using our language correctly. I debated whether to use the term abstinence instead of celibacy. But, in reality, neither seemed to capture the current moment! Both terms imply that the actor has some choice in abstaining or in declaring celibacy, when in our current COVID reality, many of the preferred options for sexual encounters (massage parlors, strip clubs, taverns) are simply not available. Here's what my dictionary program says about the distinction between abstinence and celibacy. Although many people use “celibacy” and “abstinence” interchangeably, there is a difference between the two terms. Abstinence usually refers to the decision not to have penetrative sex. ... Celibacy is a vow to remain abstinent over an extended period of time. For some, this may mean their entire life. Shadow-- surely there is a tee shirt with that collection of phrases?? The tee shirt should stare with Save me from: Cuffing the carrot. ... Saucing the taco. ... Beating the bishop. ... Burping the worm. ... Buffin' the muffin. ... Choking the chicken. ... Painting the pickle. ... Flicking the fap, fap, fap,fap......

    Flight Club closing announcement
Makes me think of the refrain from Don McClean's American Pie song: The refrain about "the day the music died." I wonder where the dancers will go to make money? Maybe a private showing or OTC, as long as you keep the numbers below 10?

It is closed. But I was in the club the day the music died! (apologies to Don McClean).

Even if you are low risk you might also consider whether you could be putting OTHERs at risk. We really need widespread testing.

What are you doing for entertainment in this era of "social distancing?"
Thanks for the reading recommendations CJK. I'm being a bit less ambitious, reading a detective novel by Louise Penny, re-reading Moby Dick, and working on a non-fiction book, Pre-suasion. I may need to rely on porn for some more adult-style entertainment.

Has the Corona virus effected the clubs in Detroit?
Hard to predict the future in this fast changing landscape. But many dancers depend on strip club customers to make a living. If the flow of customers slows, it might be a good time to get some bargains.

What would we do if strip clubs temporarily close?
If clubs close or if business decreases significantly, the dancers will be more severely impacted than the customers. The dancers depend on the clubs for a living wage. I wonder if anyone has noticed dancers lining up OTC possibilities as a back up to club closings and fewer customers.

Very encouraging review. Anyone know how to revise the club name and address? Did you exchange money before going to the club or did the club offer an exchange rate for American dollars?
