A few Michigan clubs are open as bikini clubs, if they can claim that they serve enough food to qualify as a restaurant. Private dances are still high mileage in the Detroit suburbs but pretty limited elsewhere.

@Techman. Dances are still $20 per song. Signs are posted saying all dances are "no contact." A few dancers will push the rules, but not much.

@techman: I seldom stipulate price, partly because everyone has different negotiation skills and they want different combinations of services (HJ, BBBJ, FS). Thus every negotiation is unique. What I will say is that Criket customers should be able to have a good time for 150 or less. In rare instances, a higher price might be justified.

Your last comment about lap dances "in the open" makes me suspicious. Are you aware that three reviews have been recently published that describe private VIP dance booths that have been installed at Mons? When did you most recently visit Mons? Things may have changed!

Plagiarism sucks. Can Founder pull the membership credit for the OP? On top of the unacceptable plagiarism, the original article was terrible. Was it written by a dancer or by a strip club manager? Additionally, the web site that Eve identified as the source of this post, www.stripclubconcierge.com, is a shill web site for Las Vegas strip clubs.

And how do you "scout which dancers are giving the best $20 dances?" Are you talking about interviewing the dancers? Have you ever had a dancer tell you that she does NOT give a good dance?
I too am interested in extras at a reasonable price point, so Vegas is low on my priority list.

I wonder if they would sell more private dances if they charged only a VIP tax only one time, regardless of which dancer you took to the VIP. For me, tax for every VIP trip prevents me from sampling different dancers.

15 minutes is enough for me if we have an agreement about extras before going to the private dance area.
If extras are not stipulated, many dancers are quite skilled at stretching the time with slightly more enjoyable activities right at the end of the time period. They are hoping to sell another 15 minutes.
That is why it is better to negotiate for extras (if that is your interest) rather than pay for time.

Interesting article. I wonder how they calculated the annual strip club revenue. Club admission fees, beverage and food sales would be easy to track. Parking fees would be easy but some clubs "hire" a parking service that actually pays the club a fee for the privilege of charging customers to park and safeguard their cars/trucks.
Some of the revenue streams would be a bit more difficult to track. If not mistaken, some clubs charge a flat fee for each dancer for each shift. Does that go into the annual revenue? Some clubs take a portion of the fee for each lap dance. I wonder if those fees count towards annual revenue?
How about all the stage tipping revenue, which can be substantial at some clubs? How about the "tips" for extra service?
Just shows that I'm pretty naive about the business end of the strip club scene. But it sounds like a pretty lucrative cash flow, some of which would be hard to track.

A bit confusing. Are you saying that LS performers go topless on stage? To my knowledge, many Michigan clubs were forced to go to a bikini club model (no nudity on stage) as a compromise to meet COVID guidelines. Did you actually take a dancer for a private dance? If so, add a few details please.
