Gay males cannot be trusted for judging the looks of a woman. Just look at "super models" that appear more like scrawny malnutritioned boys. Don't throw flowers at them - throw sandwiches!

I think a gay person can accurately review a strip club in many ways. Cleanliness, attitudes of staff and others, music, security, etc. These are important things.
I don't think I would trust a gay (man's) opinion of what girls are sexy though. :)

Whatever has the lyric "Roxeanne, you don't have to turn on the red light" LOL, I think a DJ hated a dancer on stage. It always made my ATF cringe when we sat together and that song came on.

The biggest problem is if they are not paying their social security taxes, they can't really expect much in the future. (Yes, I have questions about SS existing in the future too, but ya never know.)

The problem for dancers is that often the club is technically a partnership of sorts. The dancer is their own business entity and the club is it's own business entity. I believe dancer's do not really understand the in's and out's on this.
A dancer is often not a sub-contractor to a club (otherwise the club would be paying THEM instead of them paying the club.) I admit this is something that really burns me up about strip clubs, because in other showbiz areas, well, think of the dancer as pretty much the talent renting a venue, like a rock band renting a stage. Dancers get bamboozled thinking they work for the club when really it is the club is working for her. (Of course, even for other artists, if one is too unreliable, they won't do business with you.)
So, not only do I get a chuckle out of the pink author thinking she is owed a 1099, but also that the pink author is suppose to make one out for the club. She is really out of her league with this stuff.

There are a lot of girls who sat in the car while Bobby or Bo Bo decided to rob and get into gun fire with the local drug dealer... and she ended up being a part of the crime simply by being there. The women's prisons are filled with chicks like this.

I think stripping is a symptom of other behavior - drugs and low self-esteem mostly. Drugs help deaden some stuff they might be (refusing to) deal with. Of course, most people will not tolerate working around people who are high a great deal of time. So one ends up working a job where people kind of don't care.
Flashing and such behavior to get attention is low self-esteem I believe. This might work in reverse because for a lot of "yes," there still are many more "no's" - hence the postings of strippers going nuts on "no." They are putting their most intimates on parade and you dare to say NO! For many their psyche is so beat up by drugs, shit friends, or worse, fucked parents (you all know what I mean) that their beauty and sexuality is all they have left to be proud of.
A lot of times drugs and low self-esteem go hand in hand. This leads on to going down the steps one at a time into hell.
I do think stripping strengthens any asocial behavior a person might have. In most jobs, one wants to build personal bridges - in stripping, um, no. Which is funny because just like film stars, the idea is to get known and loved by many but still not be known by them. A search for acceptance but not doing the complementary part of returning it.
When on drugs, one tends to do very stupid shit. I think that is pretty clear.
So these things amplify on each other and soon they are like "Fuck society and it's norms - I steal from fucks in the club, I still from fucks in the discount store."
I was in a seminar and a psychologist said "When your baby is running around with thugs, s/he isn't the 'good one.' S/He is just as bad as the rest of them." These girls are picking these losers and they know it.

The funny thing is Cinco De Mayo was only celebrated in a small state in Mexico (probably where the battle took place.) Until the beer and alcohol companies took hold of it, it wasn't even celebrated (much) in Mexico!
