Unions should most definitely be for Trump. Despite what the Washington insiders and east coast elites will tell you - illegal immigration drives down wages. I see it every day down in the weeds. Mom and pop machine shops who supply the auto industry and who employ less than 50 people are often under the radar of ICE. In some locations with heavily Hispanic populations these shops are staffed 100% by illegals. They will work for less than average area wage and demand less benefits. A group of young guys will rent an apartment and put 20 people in there so they live cheaply.
I’m not a union guy, but unions most definitely should protect wage deflation by illegals.

It’s looking more and more that there’s a chance Biden could step aside. The Republicans might end up regretting what they wished for. If Biden runs it could be a Republican sweep. If it’s Harris - even though any sane person realizes she is utterly unqualified to be president - every woman, every BLM supporter, every Gen Z and Millennial raised on CRT are going to turn out and vote for her.

I certainly wouldn’t put much stock into him being a “registered Republican”. What does a 20 year who still lives at home know. Hasn’t experienced enough of the world to make informed political choices. His mom was a Democrat and his dad a libertarian. He probably just checked the Republican box to piss off his parents.

I’ve lived in Ohio for 3 years now and quite honestly I don’t know a lot about Vance. In the 2022 elections he dominated the state except for the urban areas and the college towns. Looking at the election map, it’s a microcosm of the US. The whole state is red except for dots of blue in the high population cities.

Many would agree that most members of Congress of either party are corrupt POS. But Democrat Bennie Thompson from Mississippi might be the biggest POS of them all.
Earlier this year he introduced a bill in Congress to remove Secret Service protection from Trump.
And he employs radical staffers - one who tweeted that the shooter should have practiced more. That’s pretty disgusting coming from the staff of a political rival.
