I think the answer to this author's problems are to work during the day shift. Yes, there are less customers during the day, but most of them are interested in getting private dancers from the ladies, not just to hang out and not spend any money.

I know this does not apply to your situation, but sometimes I would go to a club to visit with a favorite and she is gone and no one knows what happened to her. So whenever I get a favorite, I try to get her phone number. That way I can call and find out the deal. It may be that she just moved to a different local club and we can hook up again.
I agree that having regular favorites is nice because they know what you like. Also, without being too arrogant, I must say that I can be quite the charmer and after I have been with a girl many times I tend to get better mileage for less cash. Sometimes I would go to a club and meet with a regular and say, "Hey, I can only spend $100 today, can we go in the VIP for a quickie". This usually results in a full service encounter that leaves me completely satisfied. Most girls would rather satisfy your needs for a lower sum rather than you not come in because you feel you do not have enough cash to get good dances. Especially if she knows you and knows that you are a good guy who treats her well and is always freshly showered and brushed your teeth, etc.

This was a very interesting article that offers an entirely different perspective of visiting strip clubs than my own. I enjoy hearing other people's viewpoints when they do not agree with my own. To each his own, I always say, and if everyone had the same viewpoints and perspectives, what a boring world it would be.
Myself, I go to strip clubs to get as much contact from a pretty girl as I can. I don't care how beautiful the girls are, if I can't touch them I am totally bummed. For me, no or minor contact is a waste of time.
There is only one thing that I really demand from a stripper in the VIP. And that is kissing. And I mean real open mouth kissing. If a girl agrees to that, then I am hooked. Most of the girls I see also will agree to oral sex, both on her part and my part. But this is not required. Kissing is. I always have the girls sit and talk with me over a drink so we can get to know each other a bit and negotiate what will happen in the VIP room and how much it will cost. If it turns out that what she is offering is not to my taste or the price is not right, I will politely decline, but offer her another drink if she likes.

I don't think the important thing is the laws themselves, but how they are enforced. In my area, Detroit, virtually every strip club breaks many laws every day. If they all obeyed all the strip club rules on the books, they would all go out of business.

I live in SE Michigan and go to clubs mostly in Detroit. I do not see any clubs in the D that are in industrial areas. Many of the clubs are located on 8 Mile Rd, which is a big commercial strip that defines Detroit's Northern border. Other clubs in Detroit are also in major commercial areas. Maybe this is because Detroiters have lived with strip clubs for so long it is no big deal. Another factor could be that Detroit's industrial areas are so nasty that nobody would go to a strip club there.
But I do see this in the suburbs. There is a club in Mt Clemens that is in an industrial area. Then there are the clubs by the airports, which tend to be in out of the way places.

In the clothes category, remember to bring a few extra pair of panties. They do have a habit of getting wet.
Also, a small bottle of a good lubricant can come in handy. Especially if you are not into giving blow jobs. A good hand job using a good lube can feel almost as nice as a blowjob.
Also, the comment about not using glitter can also apply to perfume. Using too much perfume can rub off on the customer, which can get him into trouble when he goes home to his wife.

Oh, yeah, the only time I am interested in an OTC experience is during the few times when there is a Vice crackdown and the girls are too afraid to do anything. During these periods the girls are usually much more into the idea of OTC because that is the only way they are going to make any money. But most of the time, at least in Detroit, you can do anything in the VIP room that you could do privately, so why bother?

As far as girls coming up to your table and asking if you want company, this is generally a turn off for me. Unless they are unusually attractive, I usually tell them that I am waiting for one of my favorites.
When I see a new girl that I like but am having trouble getting her attention, I just wait for her to go on stage. Then I come up to her with a nice tip and ask her if she would sit with me and perhaps get some private dances when she is done working on stage.
When I am interested in someone I do not know, I always "interview" her before taking her in the back room. I want to make sure I am going to get a high mileage experience without paying too much for it. I never like to pay by the dance, so I like to arrange a fixed fee for the whole experience. In today's economy, I can usually get a good make out session, followed by going down on her, followed by her going down on me until climax, for around $150. How many dances we do depends on how long it takes for her to get me off.

While dancing on stage is not where the girls make their money, the smart ones see it as an "advertisement" to let the customers know what is to come if they take them back to the VIP room.

Well, as a long time patron of strip clubs, I can say that some of these suggestions are quite good. Make sure you look your best, smile, etc. It is when you get to the Champagne room part that is suspect. "Make as much money as possible with the least amount of work" just does not work where I come from.<br />
Expecting a customer to spend a lot of money on you without being able to touch you will not work either. The girls that I know that make lots of money stripping are the ones that not only do everything they can to look and act their best, they are also the ones that aren't afraid to give the customer what they want, whatever it is.<br />
