I'm not the violent type. But I can understand (not condone) what drives men to be abusive to thier wives/GF's.
One time, I got so mad at my wife--> I knew I couldn't hit her, so I went across the bedroom and started bashing my head against the closet door. She ran over and tried to get me to stop. I said, "No. Wait. I'm not finished!" LOL

Clubber,
I hate to say it but, it takes about the same amount of effort to learn striptease and lap dancing as learning to be a janitor. Maybe even less. But, who makes more money? The janitor?
If a man aspires to make the kind of income that the average stripper makes, it's going to require an icredible amount of time and investment in a higher education. And you can't draw a comparison between 'learning to be a good stripper' and graduating from law school.

Someyoung,
I think I went through the addiction to clubbing over ten years ago. When I started NOT paying bills and, instead, using that money to spend on strippers, I knew it was time to quit. And I did for several years. Since coming back, I probably spend a third the amount that I did on my past visits over a decade ago. And I only go three or four times a year now. Where, as before, I would go once a week.

Founder,
Before I logged in I saw this 'attack' thread on the home page. So, when I logged in, I took him off ignore long enough to voice my opinion.
I think it's ok for members here to have conversations NOT relating to strip clubbing. And I also welcome all viewpoints where folks can 'respectfully' dissagree with each other. And in that way, I don't believe the board should censored.
However, I do have a problem with people who continually attack with thier slurs and name calling. If they are warned and don't heed those warnings then thier 'discussion' board privileges should be taken away.
I'm putting him back on ignore.

Cougar,
You touched base on the hygiene issue. One thing that I have always done prior to going to a club is shower, shave, floss, brush (teeth) use mouthwash etc... While it might not make thier job any more enjoyable, it certainly makes it easier to get laps from the dancers that I want instead of the ones I have to settle for. I think those guys, who go to clubs, and aren't concerned about thier own hygiene just don't understand that.

Shadow,
Even those who "miss it" and like going back to it, occasionally, may have hated it at the time when it was thier main job.

I like the name 'Destiny'. The most unusual stripper name I've come across was 'Stormy'.

I like hard driving rock myself. But, I also like the type of songs that have sultry, seductive and suggestive lyrycs to fit the situation. A good example would be Nelly's song called, 'It's getting hot in here so, take off all your clothes'. Or another good sound for SC's would be 'Peel me a grape' by Dianna Krall which has a "We do three shows a night at the airport Hilton" kind of feel to it.

When I had my karaoke business, I was certain that I knew this bartender (female) from somewhere. I just couldn't figure out how I knew her. After a while it dawned on me that she was a dancer I bought some laps from.

Stole it, Copied it... whatever. The point is that I spent several hours copying it using my eyes and the keyboard... I tried to re-create it. And, BTW, I didn't do a very good job at it because there were some mistakes.
