Like any sales job, stripping is tough. Not everyone is cut out for it. Burn out is common. I’d wager the average time a stripper works is 2-3 years. The smart ones have an exit plan.

Biggest surprise at a strip club
I find it goes in waves. If things gradually decline, either a good manager will make big changes or a bad manager will close the doors. My favorite club was being taken over ( in my opinion ) by 15-20 fat Cuban dancer, driving out others. Then, suddenly, they were gone.

It appears Wagner has struck a deal to pull back. None of this makes sense. Why go to all this effort, with Moscow in range, only to pull back ? That must be some deal their leader was offered.

I knew someone who owned 7 upholstery stores. One day, he added up the value of his real estate. He retired a rich man.

I finally got it, why some clubs have terrible music or broken A/C
I think the purpose of a cover charge is not so much to make money but to screen out people won’t spend money once they are in the club.

Best Clubs in Chicagoland/South Wisconsin for extras?
In the olden days, there were a small number of Chicago clubs in unincorporated areas that offered extras. I’d be interested to hear if that’s still the case.

Like most old people, I’ve lost some hearing in the upper frequency. I can hear most guys in the clubs but I have a tougher time hearing female voices.

One thing I’ve noticed with clubs, at least in Arizona, is it gets much warmer when there is a surge of customers. It can can take an hour or two for the AC to adjust to more bodies.

The better question is why the Media is completely ignoring RFK Jr who is doing surprisingly well compared to the incumbent. Democrats have already announced they will not allow debates, repeating Joe’s campaign from the basement. I wonder why ?

Right now, Tesla stock price reflects everyone’s best guess about a half dozen business segments that won’t see revenue streams for 1-3 years. If none of them work out, it will suck to be me. If 3 or 4 work, I’ll be crazy rich. I like my odds.

Never attribute devious, clever motives to politicians ( or strip club managers ) when the more likely answer is gross incompetence.

I remember a business case study about the Benihana restaurants. They intentionally designed their seating to become uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes. They wanted to turn tables quickly.

    Are message parlors good?
Calling it a massage parlor rather than a handjob parlor lets everyone pretend it’s a legitimate business. Neighbors aren’t as offended. Police can turn a blind eye. Politicians don’t get on their soapbox. Opening a strip club and putting out a sign that says nude, nude, nude is just begging to be shut down.

Capitalism, as a system, results in the greatest benefit to the most people. Walmart is the best example. It wiped out Mom and Pop businesses across the country, especially in small towns. But, it gave everyone lower prices. I think the lesson for club owners is to put your club on land that will never be desired by a developer. Unless you want to be rich some day.

Let’s look at what Blue Cities have in common. They: - don’t prosecute crimes - embrace illegal aliens - have high taxes - have unionized government employees - control the election system As a result: - the unions help Democrats get elected - elections are fixed - the Democrat party bosses decide who gets elected - politicians are corrupt - the middle class, of all races, flees the city - crime is rampant - police response is horrible - the schools are horrible - the streets are filthy - the city runs a deficit The politicians blame the city’s problems on - insufficient taxes - racism - greedy rich people - business owners

Tesla just announced they're going to start making their own supercomputer, the Dojo, this July. Elon Musk said they'd only start when they had a solution that's more capable and cheaper than what nVidia offers, and it looks like that time has come. Add this to another potential trillion dollar business that Tesla is entering.

Maryland has a high income because there are hundreds of thousands of federal employees being paid six figures to do nothing. It has nothing to do with how well, or poorly, Maryland is governed.
