Hello my name is Craig. I’m the owner of the new strip club in Dallas. Formally it was the King of Diamonds club. I moved my club from Las Vegas . We were next door to the Palomino Club. We were there for 11 1/2 years. Last year were nominated best Urban Strip club on the West coast by ED publication. We sell alcohol. Not BYOB. Anyway, trying to get it going here in Dallas has been rough. My club is beautiful. I spent a lot of money to get it going. Would appreciate any support. In need of entertainers. We are having a casting call this Monday at 1pm and 6pm. Thank you 🙏🏾 888 44Lacys . ClubLacysDallas.com IG:ClubLacys Twitter: Bigbootydancers
^ Yes it is desert, lol, but at least an above board one. I respect the fact that he came on here, said who he was straight up and asked tusclers to give his club a shot.
Yeah. Second ad thread in a week, but it's cool to get a backstory. I never saw the Vegas club over by Palomino. Always stayed in the casinos, and got tired of having to drive that far off the strip just to get to some variety and a decent price point. I saw it mentioned in reviews and had given it some thought to stop by.
If I was around Dallas I'd consider checking Lacy's out as a change of pace, but don't where I'd prioritize it because there are a lot of options.
I don't think you have violated any rules. The rules are loose here, to say the least. "Club ad" is usually used to mean someone writing a review that is really an ad for the club. You told us you're the owner and what you are trying to do. Welcome!
We're a bit of an "eclectic bunch" here - for the most part the user-community doesn't like folks using the discussion board (or reviews) to promote their business - but you were straightforward in who you were and trying to get a new club running and we all want new clubs to succeed and be available for us to visit - all the best.
Yeah - in Vegas you were the only urban club - in DFW there may be half-a-dozen you are competing with.
IME it's often hard for new clubs to get a foothold where there are a # of clubs already established.
IMO as a custy, it starts w/ the dancers - it's gotta be a club where it's worth it to them to work there, and that they are happy to work there - happy dancers will result in happy customers - but there is often the old catch-22, a club has few-dancers, thus custies don't go, and dancers don't go b/c there are no custies, kinda a vicious-cycle.
Gotta make it attractive for the girls w/ low-fees and perhaps specials for the custies, e.g. 2-for-1 dance-specials on certain days (or b/f a particular time), or $10 lap-dances, and drink-specials, and explain it to the dancers that is what it takes to get the club on its feet - anyway, just my 2-cents as a custy as I've never ran a club.
Also - if the club can support it - consider investing in large TVs where one can watch NBA and NFL games and UFC fights - Tootsies Miami and Cheetah Hallandale have separate sportsbars areas w/ TVs for watching sports/fights where they play the game-sound instead of club-music, of course it would have to be a large enough-club where a separate/walled sportsbar section can be had, and if so then promote that as a way to get people in the door.
I have a problem with club owners / managers coming here and pretending to be customers. This is fine, as long as the promo posts are only once in a while.
Thank you Papi _chulo. All great ideas. Dallas is a whole different animal. Call.Me.Ishmael I understand. I found this site on Google search of my club and dove right in. Thank you
IceLoco That was a point of pride for me. My girls felt safe. Mainly because I didn't just let just anyone work there. I would say in 11 1/2 years we had about 15 actual incidents where security had to physically put someone out. 2 dancer fights. Pretty good. On weekends we had a 40 girl cut off. Girls would attempt to pay for the next week to insure a spot to dance. Lol I had it good.
I know a girl who worked there. She always told me about the tension between dancers and the way some would threaten others. Money wasn't bad but getting along with the girls was hard. And when Lacys first closed a neighboring club had a no hip hop policy because it was afraid of the incidents and didn't want to attract the crowd. I think Lacys had real potential and definitely tried to fill a niche.
Was at Lacys last year. I enjoyed it. Dallas is another animal. With AOD opened up, Cabaret N/S/E, DGs, and a few others that have the same idea, I can see it being tough. Would a good black day shift work?
Dallasjay yeah I think so. We will hire other races too. San_Jose it’s Topless. We serve alcohol. Neighboring club... you mean Palomino. They still play hip hop just not all the time. That was our thing. I have friends that still work there. By the way they have wayyyy more incidents. Police come all the time. Especially Chicas Bonita’s lol 😂 . Alcohol and strippers.... it is what it is. Just have to try and manage it.
Lol iceyLoco almost everything you have posted has been the exact opposite of what the facts are!!! Who is the girl you getting this information from? 😂🤣😅sounds like I fired her.
Calling me a troll doesn't change the facts. Your ckub was shut down coz of all the problems. And you laugh at chicas bonitas but hired girls fired from there

^ Nobody takes him seriously I aske him why he was rude to founder after founder invited him to meet up in Vegas his response was to mute my question
Don’t worry about it whatever it is it’s a jerk.
Y2k, thanks for the info about Palomino and Chicas Bonitas. I think Palomino is nude, grandfathered in, and so I think your club was nude in Vegas.
IceyLoco has his own ideas, but he is a Vegas regular and his is a much appreciated contributor here on this forum, of of the more thoughtful people here.
I look at the Dallas Lacy's web site, and it looks really good!
Palomino just got the grand fathered totally nude with alcohol renewed I believe in ‘17. Lacy’s because we are in the other side did not. So we were Topless.
^^^^ If you don't mind my asking, did you consider a membership club?
1. Can't sell alcohol, would be BYOB or No Alcohol.
2. Not subjected to public sex or lewdness laws.
3. Criminal laws still apply, but some types become impractical to enforce.
Some big players in the strip club biz say that it is a dying industry. To me this seems strange. What takes the place of it?
I think it is just because public attitudes towards alcohol, and especially towards intoxicated drivers, continues to harden. So my feeling is that any biz being drive to alcohol is dying.
To me, seems like Membership Strip Club, using the legal model pioneered by Swingers Clubs, could be the growth area.
They could pic, BYOB or No Alcohol. But I suspect that No Alcohol means less problems. This is what the famous Club Sights in Newark NJ had been using.

Glad you have found a new home for it. So what is the skin level of your new club. Nude is great. And is your new club open yet?

Your Dallas Club looks like a heavenly paradise.
Doesn't sound like it is a membership club, so it is retail.
Thanks,
