Would you pay more potato saled with pickles, or without?

I've never seen chopped pickles in potato salad. One of my signature dishes is potato salad and I would never consider adding pickles to it. Now I do like pickle relish on my hot dog and would pay extra for it.

Pickles or no pickles I can deal with. Not a fan of potato salad that is sour and warm (German style).

Never seen anybody put chopped pickles in potato salad. Personally I don't like potato salad anyways so I'll just have to pass on this one.

Isn’t potato salad sold by weight? Then you are already paying more for the pickles - as they add more weight to the overall salad.

I’m not going to pay more. If they have traditional or potato salad with pickles - and the prices differ - I’ll take the cheaper of the two.

No to the pickles in potato salad. Some chopped celery and chives are a nice addition though.

I don’t care whether there pickles in my potato salad or not. Just DON’T add hard boiled eggs. You might as well just put sulpher in it.

SirLDAlot - I agree - as you are correct. Potatoes are quite dense - and those pickles aren’t so dense. Of course nothing is as dense as SJG...

Potato salad is gross. Just kill something like a possum or armadillo or a moronic hairless ape an let it sit by the side of the road for a few days. Pickles or no pickles it’ll be yummy yummy yummy in my tummy tummy tummy! Squawk!!!
