So I never really took the lesson "don't offend people" from dale carnegie. My 2 takeaways from his book are:

1. Everyone is a saint in their own mind. Even the worst criminals see themselves as good.
2. If you ask someone to do something phrase is in terms of how it benefits them.

For example if that fat bitch who tried to chew out blahblah actually wanted to be effective using the dale Carnegie technique she should have said:

"You know blahblah you are such an awesome sucessful stripper but you might be able to make even more money if you didn't call customers a faggot"
