I have done a fair amount of road clubbing in the past but I honestly prefer to stay within a 100 mile home range. I know the clubs,I know the dancers,and I know the system. Staying close to home is the way to go.

I like variety and getting to explore good clubs on the road that are either new to me or I don't get to visit often, piques my interest more than hitting the same local clubs - "familiarity breeds contempt" pretty-much applies to me - I actually tend to spend much-more on road trips as I wanna experience it to the fullest - but this is also from the POV of someone that doesn't get to travel a lot.

I would say that I'm a bit more tentative in unfamiliar environments but I'm usually looking to make the most of it.

I’ve actually felt this way living in south Florida for almost 30 years, very few areas have much appeal to me for clubbing, here I’m well known and have my pick of gorgeous women, with all of the OTC I could ever want, every trip I have taken has been for vacations usually with a GF, and I rarely if ever set foot in a club not in my home area. The only exceptions I have made was to visit a fellow TUSCLer, and that was fun but other than that I’m good

If I am in the mood to club when I am local, I club local. If I am in the mood when travelling, I club where I am. caveat: Certain places like NYC, VA, MISS. I don't go at all. You can have fun everywhere and everywhere.

I would agree that unless your local club rules suck there is no reason to ever travel. A dollar spent at home goes further than one spent away from home.

Seeing a girl regularly ITC only is one of the true marks of a PL.

Interesting to read Rickdugan's thoughts. From 2002 to 2010 I traveled for work and wasn't aware of the variety of experiences available in strip clubs. I would let my fingers do the walking and check the yellow pages for escort services. It became evident quickly that the south provided the best value and some very willing participants. Savannah, Nashville, Louisville, Atlanta, Pensacola, Myrtle Beach, and Charlotte all had memorable escorts at reasonable prices. New York, Chicago, Fresno, Calgary, Salt Lake City, & Boston cost more money for more up tight women. I can only lament my lack of knowledge regarding strippers in that I found escorts to be impersonable.

Hell, my local clubs suck and I still don't do any traveling. Suck the clubs may, but I have things wired up to the extent possible, and once I have a CF, I will always have a far better time with her than anyone I go travel to, it's only the time in between CFs that can get a bit ponderous. That said, I'm a hardcore CFer, variety doesn't interest me

The one exception I can see, I wouldn't mind traveling to an extras club now and then. I do miss in-club extras

In Minnesota clubs you have to go to VIP in order to get the stripper to remove her parka so it’s kind of tough.

That being said, it’s always nice to be on home turf. But I do need a road trip to Detroit, Atlanta and South Florida just to verify. COI sounds good too. Hell, I’d hit up some NJ dives too. Ok, fuck what I said a sentence ago.

@subraman: Agreed that even a crappy club area can become the better option once you are a known quantity in the local clubs. I had patches of time when I was in the northeast when things were going so well that travel clubs were less appealing, but that was inconsistent compared to now.

i like going to the same club because of the familarity with the staff, no ID check, and the bartender knows what i like to drink.

If we TUSCLers were 1-woman men - we'd be out of this website long ago.

I'd say majority of us PLs love variety of women. To the extent local clubs can satisfy the hunger for variety - there's no reason to venture out. Rick and Shadow - you guys seem to be in that category. Me too - there are 150 strip clubs within 3 hour drive.

But for guys who live in areas where there are 3 clubs within a 3 hour drive - instincts will drive the guy to travel. Travel out of their geographic zone and well as out of their comfort zone.

But Papi is different animal altogether. Even if he is surrounded by 100 dancers - he'd still like to explore further and further out (for that fine-ass butt-flappin ebony beauty with large eyes and inviting smile)

Being retired, I don't get to travel anymore at the company's expense. Luckily, the Detroit area has around 50 clubs and fun can be had in most of them. I have a few go-to clubs, but when I want to see new dancers I drive 10 minutes down the road.

Travel, in general, becomes more onerous as you age. It follows that road clubbing would not be different.

It depends what options are at your fingertips as others have said. For example, Ive better options 90 minutes away but what I have within 20 minutes is totally satisfactory. That said if I was in an area where the options were severely limited (like pasties and air dances as standard) Id be looking to spend and travel more. I think once you find a waterhing hole so to speak that meets your needs, no need to try to be Ponce de Leon.

strippers come and go, after a while i can let my guard down when i club, for example using a credit card. just stand at the bar and get your drink when its busy. one time there was a disagreement with a "new" dancer, it was pretty cool when management set her straight when they sided with me by telling her how many years ive been coming to the club and never caused any problems. i dont think i would get that treatment if i take my adventure on the road.

I had to think a bit about what my reaction would be. As someone who currently mostly enjoys ATFing, rather than variety, travelling to clubs that I couldn't get to regularly just doesn't appeal to me that much. So if air dances were my only choice, I'd likely mostly stop strip clubbing and invest my time and money in other areas of the sex industry that get more closer to what I'm looking for -- today, that would mean SA, where I can both find a "traditional" SB to be my one girl, and also find lots and lots of strippers moonlighting as SBs.

My one caveat would be: even if all the local clubs went air dances and pasties, I'd probably spend some time trying to work the system for OTC. In fact, I found out (too late) that one of the local airdance clubs, guys were scoring OTC left and right, the past few years. I finally figured it out and made it to that club, only to find out it was shutting down in 2 weeks. But, if it had stayed open, I certainly would have worked it for a few months, and if I could get an attractive local ATF who would do OTC, I would've been fine going to that club sometimes instead of always taking the trip to the better clubs 60+ minutes away.

I like arriving at places. Traveling is a pain in the ass.

It really depends on my local situation. When I lived in Phoenix and now living in Portland I prefer local clubbing because the local scene is really good. Both cities have a lot of clubs, costs at the clubs are decent, and mileage is good. But when I lived in the Bay Area and Albuquerque I was not satisfied with the local scene because in the Bay Area the mileage is very low in San Jose or it is super expensive in San Francisco. And in Albuquerque there just aren't that many clubs and the variety of strippers isn't as good as Phoenix or Portland.

A lot of the displeasure I had in my first go around with clubs had to do with most of them being in the NYC and NJ areas years ago as well as my visits being related to work.

With the exception of Dallas and Houston stripclubs in the 90's were horrible from what I saw and a huge waste of time and money.

Now when I go it's usually very spur of the moment and alone. I passed on going to any clubs when I was in Las Vegas because of the reputation and I avoid going to them in DC ( simply because it is DC) but overall the past two years have been very, very good.

SA is my preferred method for the past five years and I've either been lucky or playing my cards right.

Countryman, strip clubs are always going to have their limitations. In your state people have said that Lexington is good, and it is one of the places where people have written about front room makeout sessions. In Louisville, I know you've written about one club now having better looking girls.

I had gotten the impression that you had an occupation which involves regular travel? If I am mistaken, or if you have retired from this, then maybe there is some kind of business you would like to start. All you need is regular, tax deductible, travel to one or two other US places. Could be doing some interesting and possibly lucrative stuff.

In the US there are some people of all races most everywhere.

I know, lots of people do sex tourism just to imbibe what it is like in some other place, reported to be awesome. Lots of guys do this. But you get more if you can fix it so it works for you closer to home.

Your state has colleges and technological industries in various places. I have studied the descriptions of all 50 states from World Book Encyclopedia. Laugh if you want, but these entries written in a standard way are actually very useful. Lots of diversity in manufacturing and former manufacturing areas, like Ohio and Indiana, and in crossroads areas, like West Virginia. And then lots of stuff around Knoxville and Seiverville in East Tennesse, because of the TVA, manufacturing like VW, and their university.

And yes, I am working to build an organization, right now just locally. If you were in that you would be getting drained dry by dolled up stripper grade hotties 365 days per year, and never any charge for that.

The men will be paying dues, but these should be completely offset by the career advancement help we provide, and also by the cost of living savings our people enjoy. The money will be strictly accounted for and my salary will be $1 per year.
