Maybe you should write an apology post like juice did to GoVikings. Then after the 5th response tell her off just like juice did again to GoVikings. Four Loko makes you do crazy things.
"Lots of times, a high GPA is due to 'extra credit' sessions."
And lots of times, a high GPA is due to devoting time and effort to study your material and knowing the content so you are prepared to ace quizzes, exams, homework, presentations, etc.
I have no idea who your mom may or may not have blown; do you?
I'm all for pretty girls in college dancing; I just never met any that used their degree to enter the corporate world. I'd love to meet your mom though!
I asked if she blew her female professors, too. No answer from you there. No, I don't remember her blowing any professors... I do remember her taking me to a class once (she never missed one day of any class) and I also remember her staying up way passed my bed time studying, as well as hosting study groups at her house with a few of her other msu classmates... So I'm pretty sure her accomplishments were due to all the academic effort she put forth; she also entered the corporate world upon graduation as various pharmaceutical companies were begging her to join them.
Yeah, my lsat score is the reason I'll be accepted to competitive law schools. I'm not counting on my GPA, although it is good, I also retook some classes that I bullshitted during my first couples years, so schools will see a lower cumulative GPA than I actually have since the sub par grades from my freshman/sophomore year will show up.
I would say a person's lsat score is about 2/3 of the importance in admissions, it is more important than GPA. Standardized tests have always been somewhat of a specialty for me.
Nina, have you ever argued as much with any of your customers in the same manner as you do with TUSCL members? If so, then I would pay big bucks to see you do that! Lol
Too high of a gpa means many intelligent people would see that as a waste of time, inefficient use of balancing life. Can be a liability to some employers. I'd take a well rounded individual over someone with a higher gpa but less hobbies. Outside disciplines are a key to character and why I would employ anyone's services, simply for the fact that their experiences shape a person's abilities.

Lawyer count in my family: sister and additional five if I include uncles and cousins. Also ex-GF (5.5yrs) and dancer I'm seeing just passed the bar. Most work very long hours and would never have the time to goof on a site like this 24/7. The most talented young people these days are going into finance for the easy money.
That's why I think medical school is kind of screwed up. Do you really want to be treated by a doctor with a 4.0 GPA? His nerdiness in his bedside manner might take away from his technical knowledge.
In my opinion, balance is rarely seen.
Unicorns certainly exist, but it's pretty rare to see the entire package:
Attractiveness, brains, athletic ability, social skills all wrapped up into one person.
Grade inflation has made GPA meaningless. I give exactly two shits what anyone's GPA is when I hire them. I can see where it might matter to people looking to go to pursue advanced degrees though. That might be the one place where people still pretend it matters.
So, Nina, what is your GPA ? CZ, I've always thought that one mark of a truly smart/aware/has their shit together kind of person is knowing when to "STFU".
"So, Nina, what is your GPA ? CZ, I've always thought that one mark of a truly smart/aware/has their shit together kind of person is knowing when to "STFU"."

Perfect example of toxic attitude toward women we have on TUSCL that I was talking about on another thread. Miracle that we have any women on the board, at all. Make sure to update your extensive troll list, @Minnow.
"Do you really want to be treated by a doctor with a 4.0 GPA? His nerdiness in his bedside manner might take away from his technical knowledge. "
===================
Yes, I would much rather be treated by a doctor with a 4.0 GPA. Beside manner means a little for a GP, but not for other specialists, like surgeons. In fact for a surgeon I wouldn't give a shit if he was the biggest nerd and asshole in the world. I just want someone with the knowledge, fearlessness, and dexterity to get the job done while I'm asleep. Bedside manner is the last thing I'd worry about.
All my doctors are pretty smart. When I ask detailed questions, they understand and answer them at a level commensurate with my ability to understand. This is bedside manner at its best.
Well that's funny, because Shailynn's EXACT words were, "I remember the 3.95 comment." An attempt to put words in my mouth. Hahaha.
Whatever law school I get into, my gpa will be in their 25th percentile... I will be a "splitter" applicant, with a below average GPA (compared to most law applicants) and an above average lsat. I'm PTing in the low 170s right now, that alone is very high and can negate my gpa enough to get me into almost every school I want to go to, and I haven't even paid for the private tutor for lsat prep which will raise my score even more.
I will probably get into one or two T14 schools because of my lsat score. Probably no T6 even if I score in the high 170s. Of course, Harvard loves high lsats and they're median lsat is 173 (a number I have already reached on PT), so after my tutoring I'm sure my lsat will be above their median. I doubt I would get in even with a 180, and my applications will all include gpa addendums. Yale wouldn't take me regardless of my lsat, they're style of admissions is too ridiculous.
The most competitive law school I'm seriously/realistically considering is Georgetown. It's ranked 13th, I believe.
And motorhead there are about 50 law schools in the first tier, Yale is a top 3 school. The first tier isn't exclusive to only the top 3 schools. Until you have given law school a serious consideration and spoken to numerous university heads and admissions counselors, you should stop telling how to do MY task as a potential law student. I know a lot more about it than you. Yale, Harvard, Stanford, are clearly not schools I have even considered. Even if I were granted admission to ONE of the CCNs, I probably would not go because of several factors... Never the less, you can save your snarky Yale comments for someone else you feel bitter towards because that school isn't even on my radar.
Hey motorhead weren't you the same guy who made a thread about me BEFORE I even had an account here??? No answer needed... Rhetorical question.
Nina Nina Nina. Oh my name sounds so good, doesn't it? It must, some of you use it a lot.
Well you're spot on about LSAT scores. GPA can affect financial aid packages. My ex gf who went to law school gother a nice package because she went to a tier 2 school with a strong GPA and good LSATs
JamesSD - yeah, my undergrad GPA is strong with relation to my university, but the LSAC will recalculate it and show a considerably lower gpa on my applications, which is why I'm including the gpa addendum. I won't get shit for my GPA since I'm aiming for tier one, but I hope to get something for lsats. Either way I will be dancing throughout law school to pay for whatever costs I have to! :)
I'm not sure anyone is obsessed with you but I do think your attitude and posting style make you a target.
But I'm sure you don't care what anyone on here thinks about you... which is why you posted several detailed posts about your GPA/LSAT and law school aspirations...
Personally I think you're at least partially full of shit.
Actually I stand corrected you said it was 3.5 - I will post the link later to prove it. You said you expected to graduate magna cum laude but I've never seen a school that will give someone those honors with a 3.5 GPA. Of course by the time you graduate your GPA could be higher.
Shailynn, thanks for posting that link to admit that you were wrong about the "3.95" comment. At least you didn't try to pass it off as sarcasm (lol), and actually admitted that you stand corrected. I would love to have a 3.95, though.
It's OK, everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect.
GPA is almost meaningless in the age of grade inflation, but Shailynn's link hardly vindicates you Nina. The assertion that you will graduate magna cum laude with a 3.5 smacks of bullshit (although very minor bullshit by this boards standards). Most schools require a 3.8 or higher for magna cum laude. Generally you will need 3.65 for even "cum laude." I'm not sure why anyone here cares though, and it is even harder to understand why you would care. You'll get just as much satisfaction from your future law degree with or without the admiration of anonymous internet perverts.
I'm not a lawyer, but my alma mater (Washington University in St. Louis) has an excellent law school. I don't know if it is top tier but they never shut up about it when they are begging for money. It's a great school in a fun city.
If you are great at testing, you may want to consider a less expensive school since the bar pass rate for the school shouldn't matter much to you.
Meursault - I didn't need any vindication, and my words were, "I will be graduating from my university with at least a 3.5, but probably magna cum laude actually." ...LAST NOVEMBER, I had a 3.5. My goal now is to get 4.0s simply to bring up my average. If I don't graduate magna cum laude? Oh well, I'll have a fresh start to do so once I get to law school!
I think that is a top tier school, but it's not one of the universities I am focusing on. I already have them picked out.
Oh and for all you guys who have taken a great interest in whether or not I will graduate with honors, my university's latest stats show that 3.57 is cum laude and 3.77 is magna cum laude. Will that put you damn naysayers to rest?
"... Contrary to what the ignorant think, your brain cells don't die once you decide to become a stripper ..."
I think the problem is many dancers don't have enough brain cells to begin with - then w/ the drinking and drugging many do many def become dysfunctional.
Nina for the love of GOD- SHUT THE FUCK UP. I'd say it's your turn now...I'd rather crazyjoe repeat everything x's 10 than read one more of your "I'm so smart and witty! Good thing I can type and pat myself on the back at the same time so I can non-stop write retorts on TUSCL to every guy who doesn't kiss my ass and consider me god's gift to the world!"
Tell us one more time about how you're in law school, AND the HottestCoolest Stripper EVAR, and how many dudes have sold their wives down the river just to try to get with you for a night. Why...you're practically a legend, come to think of it! Maybe even a....a....UNICORN! No wonder you seem to get all bent when guys on here use that term about a girl who ISN'T YOU.
PL's can dream...but most of us don't dream about stuck up strippers who epitomize every shitty stereotype SW girls have.
Now please, kindly respond to me in true Nina style. It's always fun when you go all TUSCL Court on We, The PL's.
Wait! Is Nina around 25-26 years old, just finishing her bachelors degree? At this rate she will be an old maid before getting her law degree, if she can ever finish. Stereotypical self edifying stripper who says she's in school, when in fact she's a career stripper. Lol...winning!
I almost missed this thread. As far as degrees, do whatever floats your boat. Money isn't everything. Do something you enjoy or don't mind too much or your job will feel like torture no matter the money.
Thanks for all the posts. I accidentally walked almost an hour on a treadmill this morning but didn't intend to. I enjoyed the visual of imagining Nina telling crazy joe Shut the fuck up. Reminded me of some other hot dancers that sometimes look better when they look angry or upset. I'm pretty good at typing on a treadmill with autocorrect.
Troll96 and Meat72, are you guys the same person or something? LOL
What on earth have I done to make you old grumps so damn mad at me? I really have you guys bothered don't I? Lmao. I missed the part where someone put guns to your heads and forced you to read this thread, or any of my posts for that matter. If I hurt your testicles so much why don't you put in on ignore?
Meat72, you're an idiot. I'll still be in my 20s when I finish law school, and if you knew anything about it, you'd know there are plenty of people who don't even start law school until their late 20s and beyond as they gather work experience after their first degree. You don't like me, right, yet you're SO DAMN concerned with my scholastic capabilities. Makes sense. Go change your fucking diaper now.
I post what I want, when I want. Get used to it. :)
Nina posting on here would be the same as Juice going on StripperWeb claiming he fucks all the hot strippers for free, except for sharing some of his KFC with them.
I'd really hoped we'd gotten rid of her with this thread and some off the other "not kissing Nina's ass" sentiments on the board lately. A PL can dream!

its annoying

Seems like someone with a 3,95 GPA would be a bit more eloquent
Idk - I think the repetitive posts really drive the point the poster was trying to make "home."

Not join in the "bash Nina and cuz it's fun to see her react" crew. But doesn't the LSATscore do more to determine Harvard admission than the GPA
Joe was probably drunk off his ass when he kept hit the post button.

CZ= Crazy Joe. Do you get it now ??
Well then, you'd best shut the fuck up. And while you're at it, go make her a sandwich
Your level of "getting" sarcasm rivals Alutard. Not quite, but almost.
I doubt you actually posted your GPA, but you've suggested on numerous occassions you expect to get into a top tier law school.
If you truly mean top tier, the median GPA for Yale Law is 3,93
Good luck!

Weird.
The thing is, as I've been trying to tell them, lsats are more important.
They like to turn it into bash-nina threads because they're mad I have a future and won't suck their little penises.
