Hypothetical Question

JohnSmith69
layin low but staying high
If all American men married for 20 or more years suddenly had the resources, knowledge, and opportunity to fuck a hot young stripper who is exactly their type, what percentage of men do you think would decline and remain faithful to their wife?

Well over 75% - most fear they'd get caught or get an STD or the stripper preggers.

If you could guarantee these men that none of the above would ever happen I'm not sure my number of 75% would change that much.

    I'm guessing about 75%.

I think co-workers would be more tempting to married men than strippers

    Let me just add...

I have been trying to get a group of friends to go with me to Detroit for over a year. Here are my friends:
    1. Divorced - can't bring himself to pay for sex
    2. Married (2 guys) - all these two talk about is wanting to fuck another woman, they talk about sex more than the divorced guy and the never married guy, but they are too afraid to do it for various reasons.
    3. Never married - he would do it in a heartbeat but he's always broke and can't justify "paying" for sex right now.

These are all pathetically lame excuses but these ARE the excuses guys use to keep them out of their perception of "trouble."

    Slightly different question

What percentage of men would decline based upon a commitment to remain faithful to their wife (as opposed to std fear, getting caught, etc).

    Nationally, I'd guess 65%.

If I was still married I would be in the percentage that would not cheat. Even when I was unhappy in my marriage I never cheated because I'm not wired like that. I wouldn't want it done to me so I would not do it to another person.

I've never been turned down... Married or single. What does that say?

    About 80%.

I vaguely remember reading something somewhere that men were faithful 70%. Those numbers though could always change due to demographics, age, income etc.

I'm not sure. I'd just have sex with the hot young stripper and ask her the question in the morning.

I think the STD, pride, and morality issues would keep it below 50%.

Also, I have friends who just aren't that into sex. They're not asexual, not gay, but perfectly fine having boring sex once or twice a month. It took me a while.to realize my drive is much higher than most men.

If you just limit the question to how many would say no because of a commitment to be faithful, and ignore the guys who wouldn't cheat because of various fears of what could happen, then I think the number who would remain faithful is 20% or less. Especially if we are talking guys married 20 plus years. The prevalence of married guys at strip clubs who are hiding this from their wives is one piece of evidence to support a low percentage.

^^^ not everybody's mind is in the gutter like yours (and mine, and just about every other guy here) - I think it would be much higher than 20%

I think 15% would decline--5% because they are too old for sex, 5% because they are pussy-whipped by wives or girlfriends, and 5% because gay. Personally, I think any guy who declines is a major faggot. (Not that there's anything wrong with it.)

If they felt they could do it and get away I'd say less than 10% would decline.

Why do guys get married knowing, you had to know right? that things are going to level off? Why do that? Sadly the number of guys who would do it despite promising not to is very high. I might post a different question, as the responses have peaked my interest and I don't want to high jack your thread

I would say most guys would jump at the chance for NSA sex if no one would ever find out. Men are dogs and would fuck a tree if that's what was required.

I guess I am just a little diff. Yes I freely admit I am a whore dog and would be the first in line to fuck a tree if that was all that was available but I can honestly say I have never cheated on anyone I was dating. I may have only been "dating" them for the night or for a week but I never cheated.

If some woman offered anything to me I can honestly say my only response would be that they needed to meet mrs sea first.

Seaboard, people say my DS is a unicorn. Or at least they said that before she dumped me for a whale. But your wife is the unicorn. A wife who initiates going to strip clubs! I'm not saying you're lying. But if you're not lying, you're one of the luckiest guys I "know."

FullPress, sex is a stupid reason to get married. I don't recall that it even broke the top 10 for me.

Is this a trick question? Married men are so happy that they wouldn't even look a another woman. :)

If you added in the ability to do so with no realistic chance of getting caught, I'd say north of 60%. I peg those who would truly refrain for moral and ethical reasons at 20%. The only reason I did not peg the cheater group at 80% is that there will always be a certain subset that will refrain due to general fear of consequences, no matter how remote the likelihood.

Micro. I agree you can get sex anywhere. So I am asking why people got married. I ask because as a couple I did not expect to find many couples here. I did expect to find a ton of single guys. I did not expect to find this many married guys. So I just wonder if you are married if she knows, if she doesn't, and what she would do if she did. Oops . That's on my own thread. A not as exciting discussion.

My number is different than what you guys are saying here. In my peer group about half are divorced and about 80% have extramarital sex. You must be living in another country like Africa or Antarctica.

"hot young stripper who is exactly their type" Nekid and horny for me?

I think it is basically like this.
    1. If he is happy at home, He isn't going to go for it.
    2. If he is happy and lucky he is going to share her with the wife.
    3. If he isn't happy at home, he will go for it in a second and probably not think about that other stuff until after.

Look at Ashley Madison 46 Million users?????? And only 8 real women on the site.

"what percentage of men do you think would decline and remain faithful to their wife?"

If the population of men is defined as married 20 years, straight and healthy, I would say less than 15% would decline. But, that is with the assumption they really "knew" the opportunity. Of course that knowledge only comes with experience.

If the same guys that would say "no" had a smoking hot co-worker that seduced them day after day, eventually they would all (or fucking most) would succumb to the temptation.

As a famous comedian once said - "pussy is a matter of opportunity". Easy to stay faithful knowing that the fine pussy is unobtainable but what if they found out the truth.
