  I have made out with some girls during lap dances, but it is always her initiating the kissing, never me initiating it. I don't want to make her uncomfortable if she doesn't want to kiss me. If she initiates it, then at least I know she's comfortable with it.

  If the girl looks kissable, I'll raise my head during a lapdance, smile, and look directly into her eyes. I'll sometimes cradle her head in my hands like I'm about to pull her close for a kiss. I'd say about 1 in 10 react quite favorably and we wind up making out, or at least engaging in some good LFK. The rest range from furtive pecks to some simply turning their heads away to avoid any lip contact.
  
  Oddly, for some who don't actually make lip contact during the dance, I'll get a big kiss on the lips after I pay them and say our goodbyes.

  Some girls will give you a deep French kiss (DFK), some a light lick across your lips, some a peck, and others nothing. Either ask for more and see how she responds or follow her lead. If you just shove your tongue in her mouth, bad things may happen...

  I wouldn't say its "normal" but it happens. As others have suggested, if you're interested in kissing her I'd suggest being deliberate about it.
  
  As others have also suggested, dances in a lot of clubs are more of a tease. If a normal girl straddled me like strippers do I'd naturally assume she wanted to fuck and act accordingly. You can't make a similar assumption with a stripper about fucking or kissing.
  
  I enjoy a nice kiss from time to time, but I'm a bit more selective about who I kiss than who's tits I'll grope.

  I dont get the whole non-kissing thing (mostly when it comes to escorts, but including OTC sessions too, which is essentially escorting).   If you don't want to be known as a problem customer, never hold or purposely block a dancer's head or other appendage.
  
  I don't put my mouth on a dancer, unless she tells me it's OK, or she holds her mouth or nipple close to my mouth. I always move very slowly, as many dancers like to tease with this, and will pull away to avoid your mouth. But some are ok with it.
  
  Remember that nipples were designed to be sucked by people weighing under 20lbs., so gauge your suction level accordingly. Unless she says she likes it when it hurts, there are a few of those.
  
  My fav who most liked to kiss had a freakishly cold tongue, making her kisses a bit ew. Murphy's Law of stripper kissing perhaps.
