I consider strippers to be commissioned salespeople. It strikes me as odd how MANY of them seem to set a daily goal and then stop working when they hit it. For example, they might say, I NEED to make $200 today. Counting house and tip-out that will mean somewhere around $250. The moment they get to $250 in their hands they're out the door; even if there is a room full of men in the club dying to spend money on them.
Now the "good" sales people will stay and make hay when the sun shines. No daily limit for them. But it surprises me how many strippers just don't accept that attitude. Nothing wrong about exceeding your daily sales goal. These harder working strippers often seem to be the girls that the other strippers start stories about because they're making more money. Jealousy among strippers, imagine that. Novel concept, the girls that work harder make more money.
Then, predictably, the next day turns out to be a slow day and they only have $25 in their wallet and they complain and whine to customers about what a bad day their having. Don't they realize that a couple hours work the previous day would have solved this potential problem for the future?
Are they so short sighed and narrow focused to think about the needs of tomorrow, or do they hate their job so badly that they cannot stand to be there one minute past the time they've earned enough to make it though the current day?
