Some of these high-end strippers do travel and dance at a string of successive clubs. And how many card keys could she be handing out? Not too many. What if you counter-offered to meet her in a near-by public place? Maybe she was the stripper with a heart of gold who was traveling and needed companionship on the road and she didn't want you to have to wait around the club all night and thought you'd enjoy yourself better lounging in her hotel room and watching cable? Hmmm, sounds like winning the lottery. I had a similar offer one time, but the dancer was probably hooking on the side, she quoted a flat price for OTC FS, and I knew she was traveling with at least one other dancer. My radar immediately told me that I could get robbed or rolled by them or a traveling pimp. Even if it was on the up-and-up, don't the chances of something bad happening go up if another dancer is rooming with her? While I was getting busy, was the other one going through my pants? There wasn't any offer of a 2fer.

+1 on the setup. I've seen well-reviewed escorts but never strippers OTC. I'd rather shell out $50 for a cheap but clean motel like red roof inn and invite her up than to go to some room at some motel I know nothing about.

This kind of “straightforwardness” also raises red flags for me but more so b/c I am not used to it. I think we are programmed or accustomed to doing the chasing/convincing and when we get it thrown at us; it is sort of a “deer in the headlights” type of situation.

An analogy. Lions are used to chasing their prey. How about if the prey did not run and just stood there; or the prey charged the lion instead – the lion might be confused and perplexed.

I’m a conservative guy by nature but have done some crazy shit in my 3rd and 4th decades of life which I would have never done growing up as a straight lace – it’s always been an adventure for me!

I always OTC with strippers and never do escorts anymore (seriously, you need two references? I'm not applying for a fucken job). That said, the OTC option is rarely brought up by the dancers initially, but it can and has happened.

In this case, assuming the "truthiness" of the story, I would have taken the key and agreed to meet her at the hotel, and asked her when her shift ended. Then, without telling her, I would surprise her and meet her in the lobby at that time, instead of in a small room with a single door and no other means of escape (if needed). Now, in all my years of doing this, I've never encountered an issue with a stripper/pimp situation, and, IMO, it's much safer and more reliable (assuming she shows up) than going to a random escort on Backpage. That's a big reason I choose this route.
