@Planetred Gotcha...thanks for clarifying. Like Dolfan, that's a bit different than what I'm used to, but no big deal once you understand how it works. :) @wallanon yeah, that's why it's not always easy for me to figure out potential destinations just from reading reviews, or just by reading general discussions about the best cities for clubs. If my criteria is a bit different than the usual criteria, it's great when someone can see that and say "this city might be great for you". I guess Philly is kind of in the lead right now. Although I also thought Austin might not be a bad choice for me, but I haven't really got much confirmation one way or the other...

Only one answer has been duplicated so far, and that's Five Guys cheeseburger, which I can confirm is indeed top notch! @motorhead and @Ioper "A Few Good Men" and "My Cousin Vinny" are both really tough for me to not start watching again as well... "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" :)

Eh, I guess my philosophy is that I don't give a **** about whether or not people like I what I wear, so I try not to judge others on what they're wearing. And if I find a woman attractive, I'm going to find her attractive regardless of what she's wearing. The only exception to this might be if someone is wearing a shirt or something with a specific picture or phrase that makes me think negatively about them...

I've yet to ever spend any money on OF. I'm not going to say I would never consider it under any circumstances, though...

I *might* be able to offer some thoughts that could possibly be of some help, but I'd have to ask a few questions... 1. I can probably already guess the answer to this, but are you hoping at this point that you might have a chance at going from a customer/dancer relationship to something more than that? 2. If the answer to #1 is "yes", does it seem like you and your dancer's respective life circumstances could potentially allow that to happen? 3. If the answer to #1 AND #2 are both "yes", do you think you could be happy with just enjoying a great dancer/customer relationship, if it turns out that she has no interest in #1? In my years of going to clubs, I've had a whopping TWO dancers that clearly developed actual feelings for me, beyond me just being their ATF customer. The two circumstances were a bit different, and one is really hard for me to talk about. But in both situations that I experienced, it was tough for me to imagine that a "real" relationship could have ever worked out. Both of those girls were 20 to 25 years younger than me when I met them, and both were ridiculously attractive. And by ridiculously attractive, I mean basically flawless, with awesome personalities to match. So...it wasn't too hard for me to keep some perspective about what the realistic upside for those relationships were, in those particular situations... Having said all of that, your life circumstances may be very different to mine. You could be younger than me, better looking than me, or who knows how many differences there may be? And, of course, none of us reading your story have any way of knowing exactly how the dancer in your life feels about you? We can speculate about what may or may not be likely based on our own experiences, but at the end of the day, we're still speculating...

@wallanon Without the backstory, I'd be hesitant to guess what I would do in that situation, let alone make a suggestion to someone else. So this isn't advice, but I will say this... In my time going to clubs, the ONE girl that I can say I've been the most physically attracted to, more than any other girl I've ever seen in person, I shouldn't have been able to even daydream about seeing her OTC. She was way out of my league physically, a total sweetheart, and was strictly against ever seeing a guy outside the club.* I'll give you three guesses who became the first customer to see her OTC... :) I'm nothing special to look at, so I had to win her over with kindness. I was up for the challenge, though, and fortunately for me, she responded to that kindness. It doesn't always work out that way, but I guess the universe decided to throw me a bone for once in my life...lol * This ain't my first rodeo. I know full well that girls make shit up to make guys feel special...lol I've been on the receiving end of that BS too! I really was the first guy she ever saw OTC...

@Dolfan Oh geez, yeah, that was confusing for sure. As you said, you didn't feel cheated in any way, but it's always nice to feel like you know what the hell is going on...lol @Planetred Just to see if I have this right... So it's $20 just to go into the dance area, not including any actual dances? And then $20, either per song, or per whatever amount of time? And then is it another $20 to the counter guy EVERY time you go back, or just for your FIRST trip into the dance area? @Manuellabore Thank you for the clarification on ID scanning!

^ Extras don't matter, but two way contact is good. SLC will be too far away for this trip, anyway. I need to stay in the eastern half of the US for this upcoming trip.

@Dolfan Yeah, easy communication is too important to me, which is the only reason why I hadn't already ventured down to south FL before now. I LOVE Cuban cuisine, though, so I'd probably be in culinary heaven down there... I'd still be happy to hear what you encountered with song counting in Philly?? Thanks!

But then again, plenty of club visits have long since faded from my memory... There's probably not a club anywhere where you'll ever hear more than one name from The Brady Bunch called out...lol

@chiefwiggum is there a particular club or two in Miami that you know has a lot of fluent English speakers?

@Muddy You are a traveling legend! I'm just looking to hit up a single city this time around, unless it's a situation where two cities are so close to each other that you can't easily tell where one begins and the other ends... :)

@Manuellabore I'll investigate Cheerleaders as well. I personally haven't found it THAT easy to go to just ANY metro area, though, and not run into some of the issues I'm trying to avoid. I've encountered clubs trying to do the ID scan thing when I wasn't expecting it, or I've run into difficulty finding the right type of girl for me, or dancers that aren't fluent in English... Sometimes a lot of things sound good about a club, but then valet parking is required, or they have some silly dress code requirement that I'm not going to humor them on. Or maybe everything else sounds pretty good, except that the club has just lost their minds on dance prices...lol In other words, I'm finding it more and more difficult to find the kind of situation where I can say, oh yeah, THIS is a place I want to do some serious splurging in! :)

@Dolfan Do any of those south FL clubs have a relatively high percentage of fluent English speakers? Canada is a viable option for me, but I'll want to save that for a late spring/early summer trip... Regarding Philly, can you elaborate on the part about the way they counted songs? Did you run into issues with the prepaid dances, or was it just different from what you're used to? Thanks!
