Outstanding review @justinyoo. Admittedly I’m one of those guys who are in such a hurry for arriba instead of taking time to truly get to know the girls. I like your strategy though; it seems to work for you. And like the other commenters, I don’t go to US clubs that much anymore as any TJ strip club is far and away the better experience IMO.

@justin: I would try La Caretta and Gold Palace. They’re honestly both better and livelier in the evenings. I’ve had fun at both places.

Good report @JayhawkJohn. When walking, I usually stay within the area - Constitucion on the east, Ninos Heroes on the west, Coahuila on the north, and the alley on the south. You’re generally able to walk this area with no problems, which is why I was surprised when @PutaTester got stopped by the bandits with badges on Ninos Heroes a couple of weeks ago. Personally, I have never had any issues with the police, but any time I go outside the above-mentioned area, I take a cab. Would rather pay $5 or $10 to go to any restaurants on Revolucion in Zona Centro than get shaken down by the BWB by the Arch/Hotel Nelson.

@mmvucd: Rizo is definitely the quieter of the two big Zona Norte hotels (Cascadas being the other). No din at all coming from the bars and streets especially in the rooms located in the back. Wifi is solid as well. I’ve stayed in both and prefer Rizo.

Good report. If you go to the other Zona Norte clubs - besides HK that is - you’ll find better value for arriba.

Good report. Rooms are $40 for arriba. Sounds like you had a real nice time with that lady. Also, that’s sage advice that mesero gave you. Never thought of it that way.

Nice report. Weekends are definitely hectic - I’ve found that the earlier part of the week (Monday through Wednesday) to be a more relaxed atmosphere as simply put there aren’t nearly as many guys going and many girls are open to more negotiations for arriba. And the VIP card, if used Mondays and Tuesdays, gives you an even better discount on the hotel rooms. If you can go earlier in the week, it’s to your advantage. But (I know a lot of us - myself included - have complained about the prices girls are charging for arriba lately) any time you can go, HK is still the gold standard in the Zona Norte.

Nice report Justin! Yeah, definitely need to eat something if you’re going to be drinking a bit; it helps you feel more sober.

Geez, that’s awful PT. While not surprised it happened, I’m shocked about WHERE it took place. I’d expect that on Revolucion by the Arch, but not there in the heart of the Red Light District. And as Ron alluded to, something like this makes guys want to remain in Hotel Cascadas/HK or Rizo/TB instead of going to the other clubs, just to try to ensure it doesn’t happen to them.

Yeah, as much as I enjoy going to LZN, I’m certainly not going to publicize it. When I go to TJ, I usually tell my friends and family that I’m going to San Diego. I’d get a lot of grief and apprehension from them. They look at the news and see all the murders taking place in TJ, but the reality is that not every area has an issue with murder and other crimes. I have done multiple trips for three years and I have never had any issues with safety. If you stay within the area of the LZN clubs and don’t get intoxicated by alcohol or drugs, you should not have any problems.

I just talked with a couple of buddies (non-TUSCL members). They tell me that the street girls report that the new police chief wants them to dress more modestly - whatever the heck that means. They also said police are starting to make arrests on those street girls who don’t comply. Man, are they killing the Zona Norte street vibe or what? Wouldn’t surprise if HK and the other clubs are in cahoots with local LE in an attempt to eliminate competition.

1) I’ve never been in Club Amnesia, but I have a friend (he’s not on this website) who says it’s not good. Just a blah atmosphere. 2) I haven’t partaken in OTC activities yet, but hope to start doing so on future trips. 3) I have heard Ticuan is good - but only if you get a room away from the next-door club Las Pulgas. I’ve stayed at Aqua Rio (on Constitucĩon a block or so south of Ticuan). Good, quiet atmosphere. 4) never done that, so can’t speak of it.

Yet another home run of a review Ron! I think we all need to start patronizing the smaller clubs like D&G, Gold Palace, La Hacienda, and Odisea more often. Good times can be had at all of those places, and I will definitely make it a point to visit D&G, La Hacienda, and Odisea on the next trip.

I give up. I reset my password again and again, and even opened a new HK account using my other email address. But I am still unable to access the photo gallery. I’ve even sent emails to the site administrator but to no avail as they never responded. Then again, it’s probably for the better given the thoughts of the girls featured on the site.

Get a VIP card at HK for $70. The card will give you a 70% discount on your room for Monday and Tuesday nights. It’ll also provide one free drink every 12 hours and you’ll get discounts on meals at Azul restaurant as well. The card is good for three months.

Good review DD. When did La Hacienda reopen? When I was last in TJ in February, it was closed. (FYI - and I know the TJ vets here will know - La Hacienda is across the alley from La Malquerida. When I was last at La Hacienda on NYE 2022, there were only two girls and a mesara (waitress), and I was the only customer. But instead of walking out, I stuck around and actually had a good time. Bought multiple drinks for the three girls and everyone was happy.)
