Rick - It beats CCR in several ways: 1. Real lap dances (contact, ample spaces for LDs) 2. Full nudity. Or at least partial nudity. CCR gives you pasties and thongs. 3. No tip walks after a dancer’s set in Lust.

@funonthaside - I wish Lust could be avoided. Sadly it beats other places open to me like Paper Moon and CCR. I’ve just learned that in Lust if you like what you see you have to walk over and verbally grab the dancer you want. Otherwise, you’ll be sitting alone for your whole visit.

Are the hours for this place less ridiculous than Showcase? I’m about sick of Paper Moon in VA.

I simultaneously like and dislike this club. It’s so close to being excellent but falls flat in many ways. Sadly, it’s the best option without venturing to Baltimore or other parts of MD. The DMV really is a strip club desert.

Spot on. This club is good with some glaring flaws. 1. Too corporate. Pricing and rules. 2. Girls don’t approach much. If at all. You have to be assertive in this club. 3. This club’s management/owner is responsible for having bought out most other clubs in the Martinsburg area. Is it sensible business on their part? Yes. Do I have to like it as a consumer? No. They need some real competition to stop feeling so complacent (Golden Horseshoe and Elysium are not real competition to Lust).

@crosscheck - yes, but no. Think the counter insurgency (COIN) board games, Twilight Struggle, and things like that. Also like my share of “Euro” board games (Catan, Power Grid, Scythe).

Thanks to this review I also identified and got a dance with V. If you like white spinners she’s awesome. Highly recommend her.

Real question - how dangerous is the Block? I’ve been wanting to go but I have no idea what to expect so I’ve steered clear. Any safety tips?

I thought block clubs were mixed ethnicity. Have they shifted to AA only since the pandemic? Not that I have an objection but let’s me know what to expect.

DMV native here - the options are sparse. RonJax covered most of the basics. MD is where you can get more but still not great compared to elsewhere in the country. I personally am leery of going to the Block in Baltimore but if you accept the risk you can get good rewards. WV has Lust and Golden Horseshoe. It’s a nice drive and good for full nude dances. No high mileage in those parts though.

This isn’t that uncommon. IG had a spree of suspending accounts the second they were created. It is an AI suspending the account due to whatever it picks up in its algorithm. There are Reddit threads all about this.

@ilbbaicnl - we aren’t paying or being hustled by overweight people on the beach. I think you’re creating a false equivalency here. Heck, in most cases you’re not even paying to be on the beach. The dancers are expecting money whereas folks on the beach just want to be allowed to exist/enjoy too.

The PM on Midlothian is decent. Prices are obviously dumb. If you go, look for a brunette dancer named V. She gives a great dance.

If I pay for a fully nude dance then you should be fully nude for the full duration of said dance.

If I tip you $1 on your tip walk then that’s what I chose to give you. Don’t ask “can you tip more” after I gave you the dollar. It makes you look bratty and entitled.
