You have confirmed what I think that I already knew, that it will need to happen organically and finding a new ATF is something that cannot be planned or forced. Comparing this bar to HK would not be a fair comparison as HK is simply a place of raw sexual debauchery that has no competitor. This bar is better compared to Las Chavelas or Club Tropical. There are actually many very attractive young bar girls at La Cueva. Even though there were substantially more men than bar girls, there appeared to be good availability if you wished for company. As to the Pesos v. US Dollars issue: I always carry both and use which is in my best interest. At La Cueva I make my purchases of drinks and bar girls using pesos as there is a slight price break. I tip using US Dollars as one US Dollar is slightly less than a 20 peso note.

I go to San Diego every two to four weeks and usually stay for three or four nights each visit. Each time I book a hotel in San Diego for daytime activities and a room in Tijuana for the night. This allows me to spend three or four nights in La Zona while returning to San Diego each morning to work.

I am fortunate in that I live next door to San Jose guy only a short one hour flight away. I have been trying to go every 2 to 4 weeks.

@Boldboy88 I find the bar girls are often willing to stay remain for multiple hour sessions (two to three hours) if they are enjoying themselves. I always reserve a Jacuzzi room and bring massage oil. I have learned to mention the Jacuzzi downstairs to make sure they are interested. The cost is generally from $100 to $300. The $300 payment was for two girls (solid 7s in looks and 9s in attitude) from Mexico city for three hours. As to multiple PSE with multiple 10s I have found to PSE to be mechanical and overrated myself. I have found the more sensual sessions with a 7 or 8 to be the most rewarding. I have found the bar girls that I would rate a 10 to be more transactional and the ones I would rate a 7 or 8 to be much more fun with a better session. If arriving after the pharmacies close, you are able to find it from the HK bathroom attendant as well as every employee at Hotel Cascadas is an entrepreneurial vitamin V salesman. Glad to hear you have givin LC a try but sorry you felt uncomfortable at first. This is my absolute favorite spot in La Zona. As a 50ish white male I've never felt uncomfortable or unwanted there. Possibly just too naive to recognize the signs. My only complaint is the volume of the music. I enjoy both HK and LC each visit for different reasons. I find the atmosphere here to be more comfortable and less transactional than next door while I simply enjoy the sheer debauchery of HK. At HK I must look hard for the girl who is more laid back and not as transactional while at LC I must look carefully behind the chubby girls for the hottie hiding in the shadows. Success at either venue is quite rewarding!

Because there were no available jacuzzi rooms for my Monday/Tuesday visit, I had a standard double room. I had room 852 and it was quite large and comfortable. Was actually much nicer than the older jacuzzi room I previously had on the second floor.

Just returned from my first Monday Tuesday in la zona. I personally always get a jacuzzi room or master suite (which also has a jacuzzi) when available. I enjoy a longer personal experience with the girl and the jacuzzi assures all is washed prior to hitting the sheets. I have found that as long as the girl is being treated well and enjoying herself she is willing stay extra. Having your own room allows her that option with no knock. When choosing girls at HK I find it easiest to browse and choose my own. When going to a smaller location like Tropical or Chavelas, I will often use a waiter to help me find an other wise hidden gem. All of my visits are while I am staying in San Diego for business. I always arrive in la zona around 9pm and leave in the morning. It is important to note the border line gets progressively longer starting at 4am on week days due tho people going to work in the US and commute traffic begins to pick up around 6.
