Something different

This bar is owned by the same family that owns Hong Kong by Las Chavelas and club tropical. My all-time favorite bar girl recently transferred to this location when she got tired of having to f*** middle management for every little Park. I promise to go see her at her new location.

Since I had a room booked at hotel Cascades I took a taxi from the hotel to La Cueva. It was approximately a 20 minute drive from Hong Kong and cost 200 pesos. The cab driver drop me off at the front entrance which is constructed to look like the entrance of a cave. I am greeted at the front door and patted down by security. Everything has the exact same feel as entering one of the bars in la zona.

I enter a brightly-lit bar with a Long bar running down the left side, a stage on the right side with a band platform along the right side wall used for live bands. The bar had a second floor that I did not get to. The bar was very busy filled with what appeared to be locals. Some tables were filled with groups of men having a beer in a night out. Other tables appeared to be couples out for a Friday night date. it was easy enough to tell the bargirls apart from the customers since the bargirls we're all just more sexy with the signature hooker heels. This is a local bar and I definitely stood out as the only gringo in the bar. There appeared to be 25 to 40 girls working. Most were young and attractive.
