    OT: Sneakers ?
Depends on what kind of sneaking you're doing in your sneakers. If you're looking for a walking shoe, I second 25's second of skibum's recommendation of Merrells. But don't limit your Merrell choices to just hiking shoes - Merrell has excellent walking shoes. In any brand, if you're getting a walking shoe, either get what's in the walking shoe line or the trail runner line and not the running shoe line. Why? Because for running shoes, trail runners have better heel support than running shoe at zero to little extra weight (because trail runners designed for running uneven surfaces). My input: -I generally get trail runners instead of walking shoes - not a ton of difference, walking shoe can be slightly heavier. -Merrells are the best trail runners I've ever had by a substantial margin (on my 5th pair now) - very light and very comfortable. Before that, I used to buy Asics, Keane, and Nike. -Current model Merrell mens trail runners are at this link: https://www.merrell.com/US/en/mens-trail-running/?icid=mens-all-trailrun080521#prefn1=isOnSale&prefv1=false&prefn2=productType&prefv2=SHOES. -Current model Merrell mens walking shoes at this link: https://www.merrell.com/US/en/men-footwear-walking/. -With these being kinda expensive, if you shop around (Amazon, Zappos, and Merrell website), you'll find lowest price.

    NFL Quarterback Musical Chairs
->Colin Kaepernick was a poor-to-mediocre QB at best. Being in 49ers country and having observed his career over time, I agree. His 2012-2013 seasons were solid not spectacular despite being big part of getting 49ers to Super Bowl after after 2012 season. His 2014-2016 seasons were progressively bad. He would not have been a quality starter or even perhaps a starter at all 2016 forward. Hard to dispute though that he would've had a career as backup were it not for his anthem kneeling, exacerbated by his general wackiness.

How young is Too young and how old is too old?
My ATF turns 40 this year, first dances w her were nearly 5 years ago. Still hot, good sense of humor, fun to talk to, low hustle as we were getting to know each other, zero hustle since. There will always be a market for those qualities, especially with middle age+ males. You sound similar. Good for you for not caring what other dancers think.

-> "he was Fredo." That's funny. For a good "you're Fredo" and other Godfather references, check out end of Breaking Bad episode "Better Call Saul" where Saul made first appearance.

Didn't affect me, but at company I worked at to put myself through college, the owner's son got hired out of college and transitioned into CEO role over time. Company had 50+ employees, about 5 of them were salesmen for the product. Son was medium competent, not a total doofus but not a star and was a terribly confusing communicator, yet the company has been successful under his leadership despite his faults. One of the long time salesmen that had worked only for the owner father treated son poorly and openly talked shit on him to other employees. That salesman ultimately got fired. Another salesman said to me: What an idiot that fired salesman is, it's obvious the son is the "owner in training." All that to say, if you dig your job despite the nepotism and idiocy of the owner in training, don't talk shit openly.

What kind of makeup irritates you?
Agree with blahblah here, I prefer the subtle makeup look. An already pretty girl is less pretty to me with over the top makeup. Plus, with the assist club lights provide, the extra makeup seems unnecessary. These things don't per se "irritate" me, but I just don't get it: -Fake eyelashes (my CF does this, she's gorgeous without them) -Major caking of the cheek makeup -Not makeup, but clown / duck lips from injections, no thank you, hard pass for me

    Russian has already lost
News report yesterday was Russian troops are 10 miles from Kiev city center. Assuming Russian superiority in troop and equipment quantities, and even assuming not superior soldiers to Ukrainians (I have no info or opinion on that topic), and absent any cease fire, Russians seem destined to take Kiev. Holding Kiev and rest of conquered areas is another matter, and I'd think Ukrainians will wage guerrilla war for eternity until Russia withdraws entirely.

    Announcer Shuffle
As for Buck, I find him solid but boring. The Buck and McCarver World Series coverage was a snoozefest to me. Jon Miller to me is best baseball play by play and him teaming with Joe Morgan for Sunday night baseball was the best matchup - there's color guys better than Morgan, but Miller-Morgan was a solid team.

IMO the best NFL play by play guy is Michaels, and best color guy is Collinsworth including because I always learn something from his analysis over course of game. Aikman and Romo are just OK, not terrible not great and pale in comparison to Collinsworth. I hope wherever Michaels lands Collinsworth follows.

How long to get back across with global entry?
Apply asap. Pre-Covid, the process was 4-6 weeks from application to in-person interview at which Global Entry authorization granted. My understanding is that post-Covid, process has been 4-6 months.

LA strip clubs that haven’t switched to employee status yet?
Sorry to not have the intel you seek, but if you're looking to follow blahblah's advice to check reddit, there's the following subreddits that are candidates for checking: -StripperChat (this strippers only subreddit was recently created) -Strippers -Stripper There used to be others but they've disappeared

    Gold Club Works For Me
^MrJDW1 is correct. GCC has not switched to the employee model and the dancers are independent contractors primarily linked to dancers' prerogative to set own dance prices. I have been meaning to write review about how the independent contractor thing has evolved at GCC over course of my 3 visits since GCC reopened in July 2021. I wish the SF clubs would follow GCC's lead on the IC versus employee thing.
