^Don't sweat it. desertscrub behaves like a tool mostly. As TFP correctly reports, GCC is the better club.

If only Summer's sun would shine in California. Then I, like OP, would need to consider protecting my retirement fund.

^MrJDW1 is correct. GCC has not switched to the employee model and the dancers are independent contractors primarily linked to dancers' prerogative to set own dance prices. I have been meaning to write review about how the independent contractor thing has evolved at GCC over course of my 3 visits since GCC reopened in July 2021. I wish the SF clubs would follow GCC's lead on the IC versus employee thing.

Muddy suggested Gold Room in Stone Park, which is 5ish miles south of airport. Based on what I perceive to be your profile I second Muddy's rec, though based on second hand info: I've got a middle age pal who travels through Chicago every summer and spends a few days. He hits Gold Room every night for what he's looking for, which is have some cocktails, watch and talk to pretty girls, and get dances with no interest in extras. Small sample size here, but if that's the kind of club it is, seems you would do very well, your 2 pics posted on your profile are quite appealing.

Tagline? Um ... You're it?
Agree with Papi here, that it's likely the clubs you're hitting and that extras clubs are not the norm.
Your post says you're in LA and hitting the high end clubs there. If the high end clubs you're talking are 4Play and similar, those aren't extras clubs. If you hit BELAX then you'll have some extras opportunities and it's hit and miss whether you'll be offered versus need to ask. COI is a whole different story and if you wanna get asked, then multiple COI clubs are the ones to hit - I've only been to SRCOI, and at that only a few times (not an extras seeker and don't inquire), but the offer rate there is 50+% and likely higher at other COI clubs.
With you being in LA, you can also head 100 miles south to TJ and eliminate the line of inquiry.

I've seen the bachelor stage show twice. Both times were cringeworthy and I'd never participate myself.
First time was 4 girls dancing on and around the bachelor. He wasn't into it and sat there the proverbial bump on a log. I was sitting with my then CF at the time watching it, I asked her what she thought of bachelor shows, she said she'd done a ton of them and they can be fun if the bachelor is into it and participating but that it's lame when the bachelor is hating it which is what we saw.
Second time the bachelor was there with his fiance, and the fiance was more into watching it than bachelor was into getting it. The dancers gave the guy a nice grind on stage, but then took his shirt off (he was a fat guy) and led him around the stage with a dog collar and leash while he was on all fours. Lots of photos being taken of him during the process by other club patrons (not me, no homo).

There's a subreddit named sugarlifestyle that deals with current happenings on Seeking (SA) and other sites and the pros and many cons (the massive amount of time people burn getting good results, failed meet and greets, asshole sugar daddies trying to get it for free, ROBs, the abundance of new sugar babies triggered by TikTok tales re ability to rinse dumb sugar daddies). Consider giving it a read - I've never been on SA and don't sugar, but I find that subreddit entertaining.

Thank you Muddy for hosting and Endless for participating, this was a fun read.
Endless Summer, you are super hot, my impression of you from your posts is you're cool and fun with a good sense of humor, and your photos you've posted are some of the best on this board. If you danced in my town I'd for sure be your regular.

$400 for an hour in private room? Likely that's a 30 min rate unless club prices have dropped.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
Yes indeed, RIP John Madden. For those who referenced the Madden cruiser bus and turducken, here's some links to read those stories:
Peter King (formerly of Sports Illustrated) and his SI story on his 3-day ridealong in the Madden cruiser: https://vault.si.com/vault/1990/11/26/busmans-holiday-coast-to-coast-commuter-john-madden-likes-what-he-sees-as-he-rolls-across-america-in-his-suite-on-wheels.
ESPN's story from last month on Madden and him not inventing but popularizing the turducken: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32698561/the-day-john-madden-met-turducken.
Happy New Year to all you PLs and mongers.

->@Cashman: "I don’t keep up with gun carry laws, so I don’t know about the legality of it, if someone has the proper permits."
There's a case pending in US Supreme Court on 2nd Amendment as applied to concealed carry. Ruling will be released in mid-2022 and will have nationwide effect as to which type of state and local restrictions on concealed carry are valid under 2nd Amendment versus not.
