There’s nothing wrong with what you did - or tried to do.
In my view, different clubs have different levels of pressure to sell dances. Some clubs are more chill, and you can hang out, tip and enjoy the stage show. Other clubs can inspire dancers to be pushy about selling dances.
If I hit a club, and get the “Wanna dance?” question several times before I can find a seat and a beer, I know it’s not my type of place. I think it’s best to allow a customer time to check out the club before hitting them with dance requests.
I hate to use this characterization - but I feel like a bait fish swimming into a tank of barracuda. It’s like a feeding frenzy for a piece of chum! In those cases, the comfort of the bait is not important. In the case of a customer, it is very important.

It’s a stupid thing for the president to do. Student loan debt is crippling, but Americans have to learn to pay off their debts.
They need to learn when they are young, that when you undertake a promise to repay over time (a loan), you keep making payments until you have satisfied your obligation.
Sadly, forgiveness sets the wrong precedent. As adults, those folks who have received forgiveness, may struggle to understand the dangers of easy access to credit cards, and they may amass excessive debt. Then, they may seek forgiveness through the use of bankruptcy. That is not a good thing, and it can hurt them for years to come.
Sadly, this forgiveness sends the wrong message.

Before the pandemic, I went whenever I wanted to. I didn’t have a concern about the cost of a club trip. I’m not a guy who spends more than $1,000 (on a night at a club), so I’m not a whale.
I have found the sweet spot is between $300-$500 for a good time at a NJ club. The benefits seem to decline when spending more than $600 in a single night.
I don’t have a set monthly budget. I have 2 daughters in college, and a decent list of both fixed and variable expenses each month. I also have an ex and alimony. But, I manage things, and it works out.

I agree with the OP. If it’s honestly a first time, how do you remember enough to write a decent review. I think it would likely be sensory overload for a guy.
However, some guys do their research before they engage in anything new. The common place for research is the Internet, and there are few reliable sources of good club information, outside of TUSCL.
If a guy reads the details of what comprises a good review, he might put something decent together. It will still have gaps, as it is not possible to detail everything you experienced on a first club trip.
The club is dark. The music is loud. The beers cost how much? Wtf! Titties…..
Unless a guy takes a notebook on his first trip to a club, he’s going to forget to include a lot of stuff.

Back when I was acting like a drunken fool, I got very into one dancer. It was nothing like love. In all honesty - if I was sober - I would never have found her so attractive. A haze of booze, money, and the odd lighting in a strip club did me in!
The dancer was a petite Russian beauty at a Wayne NJ club named Lace. I’ve told the story before, as I was very into her, and did many stupid things as a result. I called a buddy to get dinner reservations at a nice NYC lower Manhattan restaurant for us. I picked her up in Brighton Beach, and acted like a big spender. I was acting like stupid’s slow brother!
Back then, I thought I could stay married, and act like a drunken fool, and work a crazy number of hours each week, and it would all be ok. That was naive and a mistake. But the Gray Goose made it feel so logical!

I am not sure what occurred. I think there is a lot of pretext in these experiences, and it may cause the detailed descriptions he provides to get derailed?
I reread one of his discussions from 2017(?), and I didn’t understand it either. Either he’s using voice transcription, and not editing after - or he’s translating his descriptions from another language (and many of the English nuances are lost).
