I encountered a bit of shock when I visited a non-extras NJ club. I had attempted to lower my expectations regarding the offers of outright sex, so I would lessen my disappointment.
I decided to take a dirty looking blonde milf for some lap dances. Before we moved to the dance area, she seemed like she could be fun just for a few dances and a decent grind.

This seems like simply a bad business practice. As Rick Dugan said - it’s penny wise, pound foolish.
I’m sure they are expecting customers to not be fully aware of the taste - or possibly customers being distracted by tits? If a guy orders a specific brand of booze, it’s usually because that’s his brand, and he will likely notice if it’s watered down - or another brand.
I agree, these places have sophisticated inventory and beverage disbursement systems, so they can track purchases and quantities. But, once they start fucking with the bottles after hours, it screws things up.
Usually clubs charge a premium for hard liquor anyway, so why make it less equitable for the customer with a short pour, watered down liquor, or a cheaper brand?

I remember when I was in graduate school - and in downtown Newark NJ. I had parked on the street for longer than the allowed number of hours. I came back to see a Newark cop on horseback writing me a ticket. As he is writing the ticket - his horse proceeds to take a mountainous shit and a healthy piss right in front of my car.
But, Newark will likely remain an urban toilet.

Clubs in cities can be a pain in the ass for a variety of reasons. As others have mentioned, it seems to be more of a northeast issue. I’ve been to a few clubs in the established cities in the NYC, DC, and Philly and it can be a challenge to find safe parking, and to avoid the groups of downtown jackasses.
It sucks to be inside enjoying the club - and find your car damaged when you come out. If it’s damage from another car - or local assholes - it puts you in an odd situation to report the damage to your insurance company.

I’m a NJ native, so I know my drivers license could get revoked because of this post. Springsteen made some great music back in years past.
My issue with Bruce is his politics. He may be trying to remain relevant? I’m not sure. But, I’d rather he just stick to being a fading rock star.

The dude is creepy and inappropriate in asking the girls about hooking up. I agree.
It was quick thinking on the part of both girls - to handle the situation as they did. The guy was basically leaning inside of their vehicle.
What seems odd are some of the words used by one of the girls - as they mentioned going to the petrol station - and telling her mum. I guess one girl is from the UK?

I agree NJBalla about NJ dot com. The subscription crap started around the early days of Covid. It is annoying.
This club seems to be real trouble, when compared to Johnny A and charges from a single dancer.
The club may have had cash flow issues during the lockdowns, and possibly organizing a prostitution ring, May have helped to get some cash coming in?
Maybe Jon Bon Jovi can clean things up! Isn’t he originally from Sayreville??

My simple counter to this behavior is a common practice for John Calapari coaches players - I’m one and done! Lol!
It’s a good hustle technique, as some guys start talking when they have a few drinks. When you add a sexy girl in lingerie, who acts like you are a very interesting man, it’s likely east to get carried away. Then you are three songs in, and haven’t gotten any actual dances.
My advice is - don’t be that guy! It’s important to check during a dance - to know the count. If she hasn’t gotten close to me and I ask how many dances? If she says 3 - then I’ll pay her and be done.

I have my own obsessions, I agree.
But, SirLDAlot’s comments reference SJG’s history. SJG went to clubs many years ago. He developed a strong dislike for a DejaVu club that he considered a clip joint (if I remember correctly).
SJG has unraveled since his marriage fell apart, and he has developed obsessions with many aspects of sex worker behavior. He may have been a regular guy about 25 years ago, but sadly he has devolved to believe much of the stuff he repeats here - about FRMOS, his sex slave organization, odd political threats, street walkers in TJ, and an underground strip club circuit.

I doubt the Roe V Wade decision will have any long term effect on strip club entertainment. I agree, it has caused a recent uproar regarding a woman’s right to choose, and that’s understandable.
In my view, there are enough other inflationary pressures that should have an effect on dance prices - and likely drink prices. If a club (or dancer) attempts to add a Roe Repeal Surcharge on her dances - she’s either an opportunistic ROB or a whore who does use birth control. I don’t have any standards - but even I might avoid that whore.
In NJ, I don’t expect anything will change as a result of the Roe decision. But my state is largely democratic - even though we have had a few republican governors.
To me, there are two separate issues. Roe and the ability to get an abortion is one, and it’s not a simple choice (for anyone considering an abortion). The other issue - regarding availability of contraception - should be a simple one - as contraception should be made as widely available as possible. I think Plan B should be made more widely available in all states.

SirLDAlot - as usual, your knowledge of SJG’s logic is impressive. You cite examples to provide the background evidence, and extrapolate on how his current obsessions have developed.
I didn’t realize he became obsessed with kissing sex workers as a method of attempting to find intimacy or develop a real relationship. I find it a bit odd that he would look to strippers and AMP girls for intimacy. I understand some guys want GFE with escorts, but that would be a better situation to develop a dialogue - and where kissing and other things can be done (to sell the guy on the GFE).
Regardless of the evidence you present, I doubt it will change his mind. I doubt it will force some sort of epiphany as well. In all likelihood, it will deteriorate to odd threats about sewing assholes shut or joining a glee club.
