TheReview, that was the charm here for a long time, but lightning can only strike so many times in the same place. A few years ago, especially if you came late afternoon / early evening, and particularly on Saturdays, you could get some major face / cuddle time with certain gals. Two of them remain in my life (OK, not that extreme) literally 1-2 years since they left Millstream: One girl who went to another club in Balto (and provides occasional OTC, though I've scaled back on that), and another girl somewhere in the Carolinas that I see whenever I go down there for business. When the Mill is right, it's kind of like a strip club version of Cheers, when it's not, it's a borderline clusterfuck.

Geez, i see it's not just me....there seems to be some kind of low-grade paranoia going on there. I know there was some druggie/gangbang action in the past years, involving at least one dancer who is no longer there, but somehow no one seems to get the message that if you kill the atmosphere that makes a place special, people won't spend money on rooms and babes, the girls won't encourage and tempt you to spend the money, and in the end you are left basically with a bar serving decent food and a few girls prancing on a stage for tips.

Too bad it's such a rare promo. A 30-minute topless lap for that money with the kind of mileage the gals delivered for me on the normal LD's is a nice thing. The top-on rule (except for one new gal who either was flaunting the rule or didn't know) iwas my only disappointment about last night's visit.

Looks like $150 seems to be the going rate for "whatever" based on my own visit there in November, and now this. There are not many clubs where extras happen in the normal lap dance area, on the other hand there are not many clubs that have curtains in the normal lap dance booths (that would qualify as a $250-300 "private room" in northern clubs).

Nice thing about the 2-for-$40 dance offers (which are fairly regular) is the girl will keep going for $20 a dance, payable after instead of to the bearded cashier guy at the top of the stairs. Yes, I agree it's a much better value than VIP. Agree also about the bizarre, too-high bowling-alley stage with uncomfortable stools. As with any place like this, the girls are what make it worth your time and money.

This place has been like since the 90s. Which is why I haven't been to a D.C. club since 1994. Appears nothing has changed. But they do this because people with more money than brains think they're hot shit. In DC, though, the only option to this is to catch AIDS from a hooker. You are better off trying to pick up civilian gals in bars on Capitol Hill or downtown.

D.C. Clubs are a waste of time. You can sometimes get cute dancers but no laps offered thanks to draconian laws. I guess the former mayor-for-life wanted to protect the prostitution trade. Or members of Congress trying to impose their morals on the District in order for it to receive its Federal handout.

Scale back your expectations. Don't expect Mons Venus here. Not even close.

Excellent review. The curtained rooms are also known as cabanas and as I've been told by dancers in the past are better values than the VIP rooms with doors. They are a little less expensive than the rooms as well. Still pricey but comparable to other places, and way better than Fantasies or Hustler Club or any of those places on the Block, in my view.

The DJ was actually the most annoying part of the club. Besides the video loops of dancers probably filmed years ago while no one is up on stage. The spaceship is way overpriced for what you get.

Follow-up: from 9/15/15. Came before 7 on Sat Night and no cover charge. Place is fairly dead before 8. My ATF was there and spent some quality time with her. Otherwise similar to last week, girls were a bit hotter looking this week. Sat at the bar closer to where girls step on and off stage, better view but still pretty far away. Although girls go nude, nothing raunchy (two girls on stage but very minor interactions between them). Apparently they were shut down not long ago for a little too much on-stage hanky panky. Got a lap, pretty much hands off for the guy (at least on the side where the "gatekeeper" is watching) the gal can do pretty much what she chooses. $30 for a lap and $200 for 20 min room is not a great deal. Food and drink prices are not bad.

Munchies? Unless something changed recently, they don't have a kitchen there. I suspect some places deliver though. Usually I bring in dinner for my regular and me.

The dancers do not get fully nude in the VIP. Not normally anyway.

Jimmy, not even 100.00% topless. The gals generally cover their turrets with latex (not bandages thankfully unlike what I saw in Columbus). That said you might get some mileage in the cabanas depending on the gal. But it's been a while since I was there so I don't know if things have changed.

Good first review. On a good day, I've thought of it just like you said. It's had it's share of bad days of course, usually Sunday. Suggest you share prices.
