One nice thing about Bogies and H8N is when you leave you can get a free pass to the other club and they're close. I've gone to cricket after striking out at H8N and Bogies. Good review, especially the paragraph about the insane bullshit valet parking. There is no legitimate justification for it. It's not the $7, I've heard that even if you offer to give them the $7 they still won't let you in without surrendering your keys. If you carry a firearm you're supposed to leave it in your car and give the valet your keys. The only reason for their mandatory valet parking is so they can hold your car hostage if you have a dispute about how much mone you owe. As long as people keep letting themselves get bullied they'll keep doing it.

I grew up in detroit, I first hit Bogarts 40 years ago. Detroit (actually west suburbs dearborn, romulus, inkster) are great.
