My super bowl party had the same discussion about best QBs that Rick discusses. The overwhelming consensus is Brees over Brady (did more with less (i.e. weaker team, harder division), Brees is better at QB position. And, more questionable, Montana overall (no pussy flags, people hit harder, more parity in the league). Mahomes is great, no question.
Lastly, Hopkins is getting old, Shuster is a could've been, and Brown got shut down. To be fair, I don't think deep threats are a thing in the NFL anymore, it's all about confusing short routes and YAC.
