Like Techman, I'm curious to know the breakdown of costs here -- cover, drinks, VIP, and dance(s) -- especially since you indicated you spent more than $500. How long were you there?

The way this discussion has devolved is Exhibit #1 in the case for why the ability to MUTE certain posters is one of the best things founder has ever given us.

"Lap dances at $25 are the cheapest you will find everywhere." Except in some clubs in places like Philly, Atlanta and Miami where you can get them for $5.00 -- with no upsell for touching. Just sayin'.

With one exception, what skibum609 said about himself applies directly to me as well: "I have zero [tattoos]. Then again, I wear no jewelry, no wedding ring, no watch or cologne, so I am simply not the type for any adornment at all." The one exception is that I wear a watch, but only when I'm in a strip club. I rarely bring my phone in with me, and I always want to know when my VIP time is about to run out. I generally don't like tattoos on women, and I think it's rare to see them where I think they're well done and/or enhance the woman's attractiveness. To be honest, I've seen a lot of pretty horrendous-looking tattoos. Like others, though, it doesn't necessarily stop me from engaging with strippers who have them. I can always close my eyes and let my fingers do the gawking.

^ "I feel like they raised prices to offset slow business..." What made them think *that* would work? Seems to me that raising prices would do more to contribute to their slow business than offset it. Last year, one mid-tier-at-best club in my neck of the woods raised their cover charge from $20 to $40. They're shuttered now, too.

Just an addendum to my review... HK is open 24 hours a day, and I always wondered what it's like in the morning. Not the wee hours of the morning after midnight, but the hours before noon. I had the opportunity to find out on a Tuesday at mid-morning. I had spent some time arriba with an exquisite chica on Monday evening, and we had so much fun we decided we needed another round the next morning before I had to leave town. She arranged a shift that started at 6:00 am (!) and we met at 10:30. Anyway, I told you that to tell you this: As I waited for her downstairs mid-morning, I was able to observe the ambience of the club at what I and many other mongers might consider an odd time. Although, as expected, most of the peripheral areas of the club were not open, the main floor was hopping, both front and back. There were more customers than I had imagined there would be -- on a Tuesday morning! -- and there were probably 30-40 girls out on the floor (plus who knows how many might have been upstairs with customers). These girls were mostly young and all were very, very attractive -- and eager to engage. Not a bad time to find a willing partner.

I always thought she was attractive, though I was disappointed when she had her boobs done (I like all-natural girls, myself). By the way, she's 5'11", not 6'4". I've followed her career since she started, and as a songwriter, she's the real deal. Very talented. Like shadowcat, I would definitely fuck her (if I ever had the chance, that is), but I would not pay to see her in concert. For what it costs to see her, just think of all the strippers I could fuck. (I am in Tijuana right now, so the math is really in my favor on that. 😁)

I was flabbergasted that the first $400 (which you negotiated down from her initial ask of $500) did not include FS. I know you said "I asked what was available. She indicated everything, but wouldn’t commit to anything specifically." My question is this: Prior to your agreeing to pay $500 more, what was she giving you for that initial outlay of $400? Just "...a pretty good dance [for] about 10 minutes"?

Nice review, Dtuscl. As you accurately said, the lap dance area is pretty unique. I think it's really hard to describe, but you nailed it completely. You are right that the $45 dances are really no different than the $25 dances, so buyer beware. FWIW, I've only visited in the afternoon, at which time you and your chosen girl are likely to be the only ones in the LD area, which increases your chances of enjoying your time back there. Just sayin'.
